This is a great place for microbrew aficionados. The atmosphere is simple and comfortable and generally not rowdy. The sofa and soft chairs area is a nice touch. They do not serve food but you are welcome to bring a picnic or get delivery from numerous establishments nearby.
Their current tap list favors big strong beers with numerous imperial styles with abv as high as 14%. More than half of their current offerings are served in 10 oz.(?) Goblets. This may change seasonally, I will have to check when the weather gets warmer.

Read moreThere's a good selection of beer; I like that they have local seltzer/cider on tap as well. It opens the door for inviting friends along that are gluten intolerant/cutting carbs. There's always some famous brews and a few hidden gems. Yeah, the bartender is quiet. Not an issue for me -- actually refreshing as it tamps down on the annoying beer 'aficionados' clucking at the bar.
