I came to Blush to see Karlee after a horrid experience with another stylist elsewhere in Albany where my hair was literally fried off from below my shoulders to my ears, extentions were applied wrong, and a total color correction mess- not to mention the other nightmares. Karlee immediately tried to give me closer to what I had originally wanted and succeeded in just one initial appointment. From the minute I started with Karlee 6 months ago, I have had the hair of my literal dreams. She takes the time without taking up your time, she works hard and does it right the first time. She doesnt boast education she doesnt have, her work absolutely speaks for itself and she goes the extra mile without feeling the need to tell you about it. My hair is amazing and I have never been so happy with the service I receive in my appointments, or the friendship I've gained. Avoid this fraudulent business. They do not give customers their receipt in person only by email after you leave. Why? Because once they have your credit card, they overcharge like crazy. Nowhere are their prices documented – not in the salon or online. They do not disclose changes in prices or complimentary services. They just charge away on your credit card and with only their word against yours, it is very hard to dispute.

When I questioned the salon owner, she was rude and defensive and bullying if you complain. However, after going here for a year, I had to speak up. I do not like paying high prices for services that I did not know came with a charge or that I did not request. And I really do not like it when I pay more for service that is late, slow...

Jesika is a life saver!!!! I used a temporary dye on my bleached hair and when I washed it out and my hair turned a swampy green and wouldn't come out 😥 I work in a professional environment, so I was mortified and looking for a quick fix. I went downtown to a few salons and was turned down, then I walked into Blush and Jesika immediately had me in a chair to do a test strand. She was working with her last client of the day but asked me to come back later and she would take care of me. My hair looks way better than it did BEFORE I even put the dye in my hair!!!
