Indian Pueblo Store — Local services in Albuquerque

IPCC has always been a source of quality information, art and culture regarding Native American pueblo people. Their staff is friendly, knowledgeable and strives to help people. When I have ordered something that may have been out of stock, they are prompt in letting me know about it and also following up to either suggest an alternative or let me know when the item is back in stock. That type of service is unheard of with other merchants! The buildings themselves are beautiful and well cared for which shows that they take pride in their surroundings as well. BUYER BEWARE! Their website descriptions are false advertising, with photos of authentic pieces and a description of the artist's process. What you receive is a fake pixelated wrap over a cheap "ceramic" cup with a "Made in China" do not microwave, do not place in dishwasher sticker and a fake sticker of the artist's "signature." Also, the lid does not even fit the cup! I would not spend a dollar on this mug if it were at a retail store in person. VERY DISAPPOINTED! I can't even give this as a gift to the intended recipient but will be donating it to Goodwill instead since Indian Pueblo Store requires the customer to pay for return shipping to get a refund. I love everything I chose from my online purchase! I was only able to visit the store for a short time last year. So being able to shop online to support all the talented artists showcased in the store is amazing. All very well packed and arrived in perfect condition. The pipestone coyote fetish carving by Brandon Phillips of Zuni Pueblo is so animated, it's hard to believe it is stone! The artwork and clothing sizes were spot on and the ceramic travel mug by Denise Chavarria of Santa Clara Pueblo is absolutely gorgeous. The horse blanket is very silky.
