Where to start the staff the cleanliness the ambiance the actual service ah I loved it all! I was able to book a same day appointment on a weekend which that in itself is not usual so I was thrilled! I spoke with Leah who was so helpful and patient and sweet all while staying professional. I arrived and got checked in and was told to choose a scent which I was pleased to learn was included (other heads spas have charged me extra for this). Shortly after Tracy came to greet me and take me back. I got changed in the cutest robe and put my stuff in a locker. Tracy then took me to analyze my scalp which was gross but cool to see! She asked about me and what I wanted to accomplish and asked about my previous experiences and was super informative and patient she was truly amazing! She then took me to get started and omgoodness I was so relaxed and she made sure I was comfortable and took care of my tense shoulders and dirty hair! She also did a facial which felt so good (I loved the steam) I did the luxe. Afterwards, she analyzed my scalp again and it was so cool to see the difference and my hair so smooth! She gave me a tea and dried my hair a little and I got changed and headed home super relaxed and with soft shiny hair! I will most definitely be back and recommend it 100%! Thank you ladies for taking care of me and I'll see you again soon!!!

I came with my mom and had a wonderful first-time experience! We booked the one-hour service, and everything felt so thoughtful and relaxing. They first take you to a private room to examine your scalp, then provide a robe, tube underdress, slippers, and everything you need to get comfortable. The treatment itself was amazing! It included a mini facial, mini massage, two hair washes, conditioner, and a few tools that felt incredible on the scalp. After that, they bring you back to the private room and set you up with dryers to finish off the experience. Overall, it was amazing and I would definitely do it again. Next time, I’ll ask for a bit more pressure during the scalp, shoulder, and neck massage, but still, such a relaxing and luxurious experience!

This was the most relaxing bang for your buck! 10/10 would recommend again. The experience was delightful and the staff was so kind. I did the 90 minute and the extra time was worth the book. The experience was very calm and relaxing the whole time and my scalp has never felt better. It was exciting to see all of the hair follicles on my head, and have them use technology I’ve never seen before for a spa. The facility was very clean as well. When leaving I saw everyone clean their stations from top to bottom which is a relief to see that they care.

I had an amazing experience at Mộc! I did the 2-hour long service with Melissa and loved every minute of it. This treatment combines the best of all worlds -- head/scalp care, a little bit of massage, and a little bit of a facial! Prices are very reasonable, my scalp feels fresh and rejuvenated, and I smell really good. The progression of the service feels well-thought-out, intentional, and thorough. I also appreciated that there is no talking during the services, which is partially due to the nature of the setup of the spa space, but I strongly prefer not to talk during spa treatments so that being a given here is just the cherry on top.

This place is very new so they have a few kinks to work out still -- they definitely need to work on their booking system, which seems to be weird on both the client end and the business end. They seem to have chosen a very odd booking platform that's not really set up for what they want it to do. I would suggest calling them directly to set up an appointment, so you can be sure it's right the first time.

A couple other minor adjustments that would make the experience even better:

  1. A bolster or rolled towel should be provided for underneath clients' knees. My back felt tight by the end of my treatment because I was laying flat the entire time. They did ask at the beginning if I have back or hip problems, and that question may have been meant to determine if I would receive a bolster -- I don't have back or hip problems but would still have liked one. If that's the intent of the question, I think clients should just be asked directly whether they would like a bolster or not.
  2. I would convert one of the restrooms into a designated changing room, or adjust the restrooms to make them better for changing, since it seems that all clients are directed to the restrooms to change into the spa wrap and robe. There wasn't a great place to put my clothes as I was changing other than on the sink basin, and while the restrooms were very clean and pleasant, I would rather change my clothes in a designated changing area without a toilet in it.

Again, these are minor suggestions since the business is new! I will absolutely be back here in the future. I highly recommend and hope that they continue to offer such...

I encountered significant scheduling issues online/though phone leading to the beginning of my experience where the receptionist was waiting for me at the door and told me I was “late” despite the fact that they had called me to reschedule. I felt like I was an inconvenience and being scolded for this misunderstanding. I wanted a refund, but she told me it was not possible and that I was wasting time asking because they were very busy. Given the misunderstanding of when my appointment was, she was nice enough to give me $20 off, but it did not alleviate my discomfort. My interaction with her left me feeling uncomfortable throughout my visit. The stylist who attended me burned my scalp and I experienced discomfort for a week afterward. I had to ask her twice to adjust the water temperature. Anyone who knows hair knows that it's not washed with hot water! The quality of the products used fell short of expectations and the “massage” aspect of the service was far from relaxing. It was a bunch of random objects used inappropriately. It felt like a joke and as if she was ill-experienced. From this interaction with her, she seemed to be unaware of how to take care of hair overall. I take very well care of my hair and I trusted this place to do the same. Additionally, I believe offering candy as a snack undermines the overall wellness experience. The photos on Google do not match what I encountered and I was not given an opportunity to blow dry my own hair. This place has a lot of potential, but at this point I do not recommend it. It is by far such an overpriced experience and I regret wasting my money here. I hope this review helps this place improve for future clients and get their moneys worth.

-my reviews for other places has nothing to do with my experience here. You are falling short from your “mission statement” of being committed to providing care to your clients. Given all your background, I would have expected for you to respond in a more professional manner. Your response is enough to not want to...

I was really looking forward to visiting this place, but unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. I had booked my appointment online and traveled three hours to Albuquerque, coordinating several beauty appointments for the day. Just an hour before my appointment, while I was already en route, I received a call from the receptionist, who lacked customer service skills, asking me to reschedule for a later time. I explained that I couldn't change my schedule due to other commitments, and she reluctantly agreed to keep my original appointment.

Upon arrival, I was met with the same lack of customer service. After checking in, I was asked to wait, which ended up being a 30-minute delay. I had booked a $208 service that was supposed to last 120 minutes. Instead, I watched as an influencer was prioritized, receiving a free service while I waited.

When it was finally my turn, the young lady who attended to me was not the professional I had booked with online. She mentioned getting her cosmetology license only two years ago and mostly did men’s haircuts prior. She didn't engage much during the consultation, which lasted a mere 30 seconds. She didn’t really explain anything about the camera being put to my scalp and describing what she was seeing. The service itself was subpar, and the products used irritated my skin for weeks afterward. Despite my request for more pressure during the treatment, there was no adjustment.

To top it off, after paying over $200 plus tip, I was expected to blow dry my own hair, which I found to be quite ridiculous. Overall, I left feeling upset and disappointed with the entire experience. Unfortunately, I won't...
