I’m a very regular customer to this location. However, today I had a very unpleasant, and uncomfortable situation occur to me . I went to target to get a gift card, clothes, toiletries. I went to self check out since literally only three registers were open. I decided to scan my items and then realized I have a target gift card I wanted to use. Since I had already scan a gift card for Panera bread. I decided to split my payments and pay for one portion first and then wanted to use my target gift card for the remaining stuff. I was done scanning my big ticketed items and paid and got my receipt. My remaining stuff were toiletries that I wanted to use my target gift card for so I decided I’ll just go back to a register since I will be using my target gift card and cash since it wasn’t much stuff literally 4 things. I did notice the lady who worked at self check staring and I told her I’m going to go back in line to a register since I have cash I need to break and a target gift card I’ll like to use. I had already separated my stuff I haven’t paid for and placed my paid items on top cart. She then approached me and stated “ the cameras are watching” I got super offended as I am a Latin American women and she said it out loud. She was implying I was going to steal, when she saw and even helped me with my gift card purchase and I told her I’m going to a register to use cash and gift card since the self check out doesn’t take cash. Mind you I didn’t have to explain that to her since I haven’t even left the store and she saw I was already turning around to go to a register and I let her know before hand what I was doing in order to use cash and my target gift card . She still made the comment. She was an older women around 1pm on Saturday May 24th and she made me feel very uncomfortable and...
Read moreI had an unacceptable experience at Target involving an employee named Diego. I waited patiently to purchase Bose headphones while he finished assisting another customer. Instead of acknowledging me afterward, Diego took a phone call without a word. When a non-African American woman walked up, he immediately asked, “How can I help you?”
I informed him I was there first, but he rudely stated, “I will help her, then get to you.” Despite me saying I was here first he ignored me and prioritized her. Even after she acknowledged I was waiting first, he apologized to her—not me.
When I requested a manager, Diego dismissively asked, “Why?” and said, “She isn’t going to do anything,” refusing to escalate the matter. His blatant disregard for fairness, professionalism, and respect was appalling. Only after persistent demands did manager Ruth arrive and apologize, but the damage was done.
Diego’s behavior was discriminatory, disrespectful, and entirely unacceptable. Immediate action should be taken, and I expect to hear from a manager—Kyle or Amber—regarding how this will...

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!!!!!
My fiance and I signed up for a baby registry...in which upon completion, we we're to be greeted by a store team member with a gift bag, registry scanner, and information packets.
Absolutely none of that took place. I had to wait approximately 5 minutes at the customer service desk after creating the registry for 3 employees to finish what sounded like a personal out of work style conversation. Involving curse words that the public could clearly hear. When I was finally able to get the young lady's attention, I told her I just created a registry and I believe I need a scanner, in which she didn't say anything, grabbed one, and slid it across the counter to me, and promptly went back to talking to her two co-workers.
Needless to say...we were never greeted by anyone, nor did we receive any information or gift bag.
Terrible...
