Something Sweet — Local services in Allegan

The new owners have tried hard to make it their own, while keeping some elements consistent from the previous owners. I can very much feel that when I'm in the shop, but they seem to have less options for someone who wants to make a gift basket, and I have noticed the quality isn't the same. The chocolate covered strawberries, for example, taste fermented, and some of the more expensive chocolates taste as if they have been sitting out for a while. As a result, I will only purchase the smaller, seasonal truffles. They have extended their hours for special events, but outside of that they close in the afternoon so people who work first shift are unable to stop by. I have never been disappointed! My favorite is the peanut butter pumpkins/trees/hearts etc. They change for the season or holiday. The chocolate is creamy and peanut amazing! I don't know exactly what they are called though. Sooooo good. Anytime I've needed a gift basket put together for a friend or easter basket for my daughter, they have always outdone their selves! Always something wonderful to buy either for yourself or someone special. They will make beautiful baskets or just a lovely small box of sweets, whatever you need. My personal favorite is the huge selection of Jelly Belly jelly beans. My whole family loves this store from the day it opened here in Allegan.
