I’ve been collecting record and phonographs for a long time now, and I went here looking for records. I found some, but one owner refused to sell specific ones because they were a “matching set to the Victorola” which they weren’t because they were a mix of prewar, and post war 78’s. Also since the records I wanted were Columbia’s, not Victors, since Victor was the one who produced the Victrola. He then tried to tell me that the set was worth over $100 online, and used eBay as a source, (after I told him to use a better source, he then proceeded to say how bad eBay was, after just sourcing it) and could only find them for $25, nowhere near his supposed $100. The other owner was extremely nice. This second one was rude, stubborn and tried to claim he knew what he was talking about when he clearly had no clue. Read moreI was going to visit this place with my buddy that had recommended it and his phone was working today so I let him use mine to ask a question and when I let him ask a question i didnt know that he was gonna ask why they had holes in the ceiling and the guy hung up and i tried calling back they guy said he had my number traced and I called back again and a nice woman answered and I just asked out of curiosity if they had any antique souvenir spoons like the collectors ones and she hung up. There is a massive variety of everything from historic furniture, toys, automobilia , military, glassware, trinkets and then some. This is no junkyard or clearing out grandmas closets, there’s lots of interesting finds and history here.
