I used to never think anything about kotic, never frequented, never really bought anything. My opinion has flipped. I moved from alpena over a year ago and let me tell you, the game stores down here in Dearborn are raw stank! I came up to visit my mum and a friend, and i stopped by kotic. Brilliant store, Phenomenal I dare say. I bought a 3DS and then as I was leaving alpena, I came back just so I can buy a PSP 3000. Fully worth the price, both devices are pristine and perform beautifully even a couple months after purchasing. They got some good finds as far as games go, too. I was in total awe seeing Megami Ibunroku Persona for the PSP on the shelf. sadly I couldn't purchase it along with everything else I did that day lol. Lovely shop, Alpena is lucky to have one high quality game...

I purchased the PS2 slim used at this location. Not only was it overpriced ($90 is a big rip off considering how much they sell for new on Amazon. ) AND it was defective.

The disc tray on the PlayStation slim opens upwards, the game kept stopping because the door is too loose and sensitive. Even a slight giggle in the cord while playing made the "disc drawer open" message display.

That wasn't the only defect. The system constantly ceases up and freezes. Then it displays "cannot play DVD" while the game is frozen in the background.

I cannot say I would recommend k-otic games to anyone their stuff is just too uncertain in value and quantity, try to avoid...
