I bought a vehicle there a few weeks back & was told as far as they knew, nothing major was wrong with it. I found out hrs later something is going on with the transmission. They did a flush & told me it was a fix! 2 weeks later, its back to doing the same thing. Also, Whitney told me she would order a new key fob for me when their guy came in, on their expense. I was very thankful but when I called today, she said she never said that. Yes you did Whitney! WE both heard you! Honesty is important Whitney, Your character is everything in this world & that's something you need to work on.
Let me add on that I got my car looked at by someone else today & found out that you all sold me a car that needs a $1700 part & the labor is going to be pricey too! I got screwed over so bad! Another add on: Took my vehicle to Ball Tire because I noticed after I bought it there were sounds coming from the steering. Turns out I need an $800 part. Thanks again McInerney for telling me there's nothing noticeable wrong with my vehicle! I just wanted a safe vehicle to drive my grandbabies in & you lied!
Another update: While my vehicle was getting a torc converter put in, the mechanic noticed that some bolts in the transmission are rusted & stripped causing me to have absolutely No All Wheel Drive & needing an entire transmission! Had the left side fixed appx. 2 years ago so was confident it would be a quick, cheap fix. Received a call from the Service Department letting me know that they found multiple issues that needed to be repaired totaling $1,400.00. Was told that it would be 3 to 5 days before a the parts would be in and I would need to make another appointment once the parts were in for the repairs to be made. Went to pick up my vehicle. Received lots of attitude and terrible customer service when I informed them I wanted to think about it & get some other estimates. Was shocked when I was handed my key and a bill for $76.00 for "diagnostic services". Paid the bill, had to search in the parking lot for my vehicle and left. Promptly went to another mechanic for an estimate. Was quoted $820.00 for parts & labor. All parts available next day. Made an appointment. Fast forward a week to day of repair appointment. Mechanic called to inform me that NONE of the parts quoted by Thunder Bay Dodge needed to be repaired. NONE. Apparently this is common practice for Thunder Bay Dodge. Read moreNOT RECOMMENDED In 2022 we purchased a 2019 Pacifica. (28K) The carpet not correctly installed. Said they would fix - they have not. They did not have the second fob. They promised a second fob but have not seen it yet. Tires were past their half life. Discounts on new tires were offered. Tire department said "we don't do that". We had to pay full price. Paint / chip issues on front and back. Dealer promised to get us paint for the vehicle to match so we could paint it ourselves. It was not delivered. We have repeatedly called to get them to deliver on promises made when buying the vehicle. Getting call backs from this dealer is like expecting a miracle that will never come. After paying 10's of thousands for a vehicle, I would expect it's not our job to spend all of our time calling and begging for you to deliver on promises YOU made just to get us to buy from you. So, keep the fob, paint, and labor costs for fixing the carpet. We give up. For anyone reading this, buy from who you want to, but unless this sounds fun to you...
