Small town restaurant, big time flavor. I saw reviews about the wait times for food and was even told in person. But decided to go anyway. Yes it can be aittle longer than we're used to but the food was great. Came out hot, nothing had to be sent back and it had both good taste and presentation. I opted for the chicken tenders because you can almost never go wrong with tenders. They were made in a way I had never seen with the accompanying sauce on the side, I'd say they were some of the best tenders I've ever had. The "HOO" fries were covered in garlic aioli and parmesan, I would have eaten just those by themselves. Service was polite and quick comparatively. Out waitress checked on us often and refills were prompt. The dining area was clean but. Little small but it's obviously a converted home so you can't be too picky. Plus they had back wrapped jalapeño poppers... is there really anything to complain about?

Great burger joint that has a wide selection of specialty burgers, plus create your own. They also have some vegetarian choices along with pulled pork, cod, and shrimp choices. I had the 1/3 lb PB&J burger (bunless, served on a bed of greens), topped with bacon, smoked Gouda, thai peanut butter sauce, and a raspberry sauce. Their sauces are homemade, and taste it. The peanut butter sauce went surprisingly well with the burger and had great flavor, and was a creamy consistency. The raspberry sauce was a little sweet for me, but paired well with the peanut butter. I was hesitant about ordering, but glad I did. Very tasty. The burger was served with house made chips that were good. If you like burgers, this is a great choice of restaurant. Service was friendly and prompt. Will be back.

My husband and I stopped here for our first visit. We loved everything except the pretty loud regulars. They weren’t awful but it’s hard to speak to each other in such an intimate space with someone talking to the entire room. But let’s focus! The service was super friendly (a little slow considering the size however I think she was dealing with a drink order) but friendly and accommodating. The drinks were exceptional. I had a spicy margarita and it was perfect. We had the chicken and waffle sandwich and we agree it gets better as you go. So many complex flavors. It’s very well done. There are several other options we want to try so this will be our date night spot for a while. Very well done especially considering the limitations of size they were up against.

To-go order: Spicy pork was very good conglomerate of pickled onions, cole slaw, cheese, raw jalapeno and pulled pork on a brioche bun. Beware, the pulled pork has a sweet, sweet sauce. Hamburger was served with scant lettuce, tomato, a barely a ring and a half of sliced, raw onion. Extra onion was requested at order but not provided; neither was ketchup, mustard, or mayo so the hamburger was dry. . .thank goodness the tomato slice was juicy.

Sandwiches are served with homemade potato chips. Grease might not have been hot enough because the chips were soaked through with grease, hard (not in a good way), and unappealing.

Pastrami fries are a good idea poorly executed with waaaay too much fresh parmesan on top (wrong flavor, wrong texture, a mouthful of powder?) I'm not a fan of pastrami and grated parmesan cheese. Fries were good enough.

Entire order was served without napkins, nor utensils. So we ate our meal at a nearby park next to Thunder Bay River a few blocks away with a random pair of chop sticks, a fork, and fast food napkins that had accumulated in the car console.

I might go back for a second meal but I'm not compelled. If you like your pulled pork SWEET, you might like the pulled pork...
