I have been an El Dorado customer for over 10 years and the new location at Altamonda Springs is the worst. We purchased 2 lamps on Aug 1st. The lamps were scheduled to come on Wed Aug 6th between 4pm - 6pm. I got a call that they were running late and it would be delivered between 6pm- 9pm. They didn't arrive until 11 pm and stayed outside to unpack it then broke one of them. The cord had become totally detached as the delivery driver thought it was a good idea to use brute force to pull the cord out as my husband kept warning him not to do that. All of which was caught on our ring camera, which makes for great viewing of who you should have deliver your items. The delivery was rescheduled for Sat 9th only to find out that there was no more. My husband then offered to still keep the damaged one and have it repaired but the manager Mariela said they wont be able to give a discount, ww can get it for the price we purchased it for. I spoke to a manager Mariela who said I can't get the money back until it is returned but they can't pick it up until Sat. I am expected to again sit and wait for them to pick it up before refunding my money. I offered to have them pick it up today and give me my money back so I can purchase new ones from another store as I found a store but there is no truck today. Beware that their trucks come from Miami only on Wednesday and Saturday. I advised that I will be placing the lamp outside as I will not be staying at home waiting all day on them. I really don't recommend the store, and I have good reasons for this: I went to the gand opening Store day, 45 minuts before the opening hours, because the advertising on the media said the first costumers would have a 200 dollars discount to use in a purchase. I made a purchase of a Vase, a Wall art, and a sideboard. The vase I bring home, and the wall art and sideboard I was asked if I could wait until February 18th, and I agreed. Today, I called to ask about my delivery date, because I saw on the store website the advertisement of the same sideboard is for sale and the date of delivery is March. But my delivery date is only April. And the store knows the piece will not be delivered before April, but, if I cancel the item because THEY can't respect our contract, I'll loose my 200 hundred I deserve because I fallen all rules of my contract, Ind I paid on January. And they again CAN'T guarantee April to deliver my sideboard. Don't trust what this store advise, BECAUSE THEY DON'T RESPECT WHAT THEY SAY. Isn't a trustful company.
Update: After the revews on several websites, the Customer service called me, and I could choose the way to solve this. They delivered my wall art in 4 days, and the sideboard in 7 days. They didn’t, so we called and said it gets to the warehouse on the 14th and to call back to schedule delivery. So today we called and were told that our couch won’t be delivered until APRIL. This was bought on 2/1.
We immediately said that was not going to work for us, were told they’ll call us back and didn’t. So we called back again, and cancelled the order and now will wait 5 days for our card to be refunded.
