Unfortunately won't be back. Entering the restaurant, it was so dark... no music... just didn't feel like a comforting restaurant ambiance. Ordered Thai tea and it was sour... when I told our server that it was sour, she didn't seem surprised and just said "oh it's sour. We can swap it out". Ordered Pad Thai chicken with medium spice and Pad Thai tofu with hot spice. We were eating and I kept complaining that my dish was way too spicy and my mom was saying hers wasn't spicy at all... I couldn't eat more and then my mom tried mine and said this was actually super spicy and the restaurant must have made a mistake by making the tofu dish medium instead of hot... when this was brought up, the server said they don't measure out their spices so the cook must have put too much spice into the dish... when we got the check, it did show that she put the order in incorrectly... she put it as Pad Thai tofu with medium spice... when this dish should have been the hot spice.
And the icing on the cake... one of the pad Thais had an inedible plastic piece in it.. when we told the server, she said that it looked like an uncooked clear noodle, but we told her after several chews, and the plastic not breaking, we knew it was a plastic piece... thankfully the restaurant took it off the receipt, but overall it seemed like the server had remarks for all the mistakes that occurred today...
Overall, will never be back and don't recommend to anyone.

Read moreThe restaurant is located in a nondescript strip mall and the storefront is unassuming. But the only thing better than the delicious food is the helpful and friendly staff. We went for lunch on a Tuesday. I had the Pad Thai lunch special and asked for "Thai Hot" spice level. It came with a spring roll, chicken rice soup and a salad with a ginger dressing. It was perfect. The spring roll was super crispy. The salad dressing was the perfect balance of sweet, vinegar and ginger flavors. We also got an appetizer of chicken wings. Super delicious and crispy, piping hot too 🔥. I chose veggies and tofu to go with my Pad Thai. The noodles were cooked perfectly and it came with scallions, onions, carrots, broccoli, and zucchini. I like spicy foods and the "Thai Hot" was perfect for me. Plenty of heat without overwhelming the flavors in the rest of the entree. My wife had the green curry with chicken pork and beef. She thoroughly enjoyed it. I also got a Tom Yam soup that was so delicious, I ordered one to take home. I also tried a Chang beer. It was crisp but not light. Nothing I'd drink on game day, but worth trying. Our waitresses were friendly and helpful, and made great suggestions. So far our favorite Thai spot in...
Read moreI don’t really understand how anyone can say this place is good. I gave it a try this afternoon and decided to get fried rice and spring rolls but all I can say is I won’t be coming back. This spring roll seemed very greasy Barely any vegetables and they didn’t seem fresh at all. They easily could’ve passed for cheap Chinese spring rolls, possibly even frozen and they were soggy. The fried rice was extremely lackluster it lacked flavor And the rice wasn’t Soft and didn’t seem cooked fully the plum Sauce was so watery and disgusting. The coconut ice cream that I had to go with my banana desert didn’t really taste like coconut, but more like vanilla who knows they could’ve mixed it too, but it definitely didn’t taste great and the price was pretty steep when the food wasn’t up to par as I’ve been to tons of Thai restaurants that is one of my favorite foods. The Ambience was pretty dead and the decor was older. I don’t know where the high reviews came from but just do yourself a favor if you like Thai food give Thai Place a try in Winter Park instead you will...
