Great as always. This is the way that hardware and lumber should be sold. I walk into my local Alvin Mccoys. I'm welcomed by everyone that I see. I buy my lumber then pull around back where an employee helps me load it up. This is a lot easier than the big Orange store where you load up six hundred pounds of lumber (by yourself because the employees are hiding out somewhere in the store) then you push the six hundred pounds of lumber through the store (on a cart that has been hit by a truck and three of the six wheels don't want to cooperate with you) only to be confronted with a mad house of people that are checking out the daily deals that have been strategically placed dead center of the main aisle that is now between you and freedom. After making your way through the check at a snail's pace you have a new battle ahead of you. Making your way to your truck, blocking the drive with your cart and loading your newly purchased six hundred pounds of lumber into your truck (by yourself) once finished and out of breath and patience, you start to see them. It's the employees that were hiding under cars waiting for you to finish loading up your six hundred pounds of lumber. Thank you Mccoys for all that you do. You make my life so...
Read moreJust was not impressed with this visit. I went in to get a chainsaw blade and the way the store was organized a lot of the blades were about two feet above my head completely out of vision so it took me quite a while to see them and get the one I needed. Even though there were 3 employees close by none of them question me or offered to help. I went up to the cashier and she was finishing with another person. After that person left she took another several minutes organizing some paperwork before she even looked at me and offered to do my order. I asked her if she noticed the fluid that was on the floor in front of her area and she said yes she was. After she run me up she left her station and just went outside for break. No one marked the fluid on the floor so that someone would not accidentally slip on it. Just was not impressed by the whole visit.
Update: so I have done a few more visits and they have been a lot better. Most of the employees have been very helpful and several of the things that I needed have been very...
Read moreItâs a little frustrating when their app says they have 3 in stock, but in reality they donât even carry this product. đ
EDIT: The âownerâ suggested I contact a customer service specialist. Nice canned-response. Hereâs the thing thoughâŚsince you didnât have what I needed, when I needed it, I went somewhere else. Furthermore, while McCoyâs has pretty good service, its prices are always too high and I only shop there out of convenience.
So why would I contact customer service? So they could order it for me? Bahahahahahaha! I could get it cheaper and faster on Amazon. How are you still in...
