I rented this place for a babyshower June 15th, 2024. The AC was not working when we arrived to set up decorations at 2:30pm. The party started at 4. A little after 4, I went up to the front desk to ask to turn up the AC and the guy said he was on the phone with them at that moment to get it fixed. I rented the restaurant area from 2:30-8:00 pm, which I was told would hold 175 people. I was told they would provide 3 larger tables for the cake/gifts. 1 table was broke and was not able to be used at all. The other 2 had to be put against the wall because they were so wobbly. There were about 6 other small tables that were very wobbly also, so we had to be very careful. There was no running water in the restaurant area. The area was so hot, that most of our guests were fanning themselves, which was embarrassing. We complained again and the lady told us that they were aware that it wasn't working since the morning but it should have been fixed. She never mentioned anything since the minute I arrived. Around 7:30pm, we started cleaning up. It was so hot in that room, which was making us take longer to pick up. The lady asked for me at 8pm, so that I could pay for the rental. I asked if we could get a discount because the AC did not work at all during our event and she said no. She said we had to pay the full $350. I mentioned half of the tables were broke also but she did not seem to care, so I just left it at that and paid the $350. She also mentioned that we were probably going to be the last ones to rent out the area. I assume because they had issues with others about the AC and etc. We had about 20 people helping clean nonstop. No one at any point was sitting around doing nothing. She came in and started trying to sweep and told the MOM to BE, that she was going to charge another hour, so that we could continue cleaning. While my 13 year old daughter was picking up, she told her that we needed to leave asap. She knew I was in charge because I had already paid for everything but she continued to harass my guests about leaving. After I became aware, me and my husband went and asked her if there was a problem. She said no. She said, all she did was ask the mom to be if we would like it for another hour, which was not true. Then she started saying that we should have been out by 8. I told her that without AC, it was slowing everyone down. And she said it didn't matter. She was very rude. I was a member but had to take break due to ankle injury. Did not join back because of price increases. When I was member, I got many friends join at my recommendation, but they started leaving due to price hikes and also there were days, you could not play open plays. At times limited courts were there for open plays. Number of young players who are very good players left because of cost , so you do not have higher rated players to play with. I enjoyed playing with many highschool, college kids who were excellent but could not afford high cost. They also cut the times which was a poor decision

I suggest The facility has other sports like basketball etc but people who play pickle ball only play Pickle ball and do not want to pay for other games in facility. Keep membership for particular sports Reduce fees in range of 50-60 dollars per mo and do not nickle and dime Keep one price without additional fees Keep longer hrs for open plays daily. So you can go when your schedule permits. I tried to push so many to join but they felt betrayed soon after they joined, the price hikes Many pickleball businesses in the country do not thrive as they move away from “ sports” as goal to money making, Do not lose focus from the “sports” BSA was hosting pickle ball games, make money by attracting corporate events but do not create difficulties for patrons to play at times they want to play. Spend twice the money to play at Netplex and for a Club team only to recieve the worst Referees in History. They do not know the rules of the game. They do not call anything. It’s like playing football but it’s supposed to be basketball. Multiple coaches and parents have made numerous complaints and expressed that if it is going to cost a extreme amount of money to play we deserve quality trained experienced referees. Not rookies that do not wanna be there and are under trained. Come on Netplex Management get you league in order or we will be starting our own facilities close by. This League has been a complete Joke. Save Your Money. Play AAU with our club and receive the quality of referees you all deserve.
