Kop Jai Thai-Lao Street Food — Restaurant in Amarillo

Oh my God I have tried like half the menu and nearly everything has been 10/10 Crispy Lettuce Waps, Nam Kao, Thai Short Ribs, Lao Sausage, Sweet Sausage, Fried Pork Belly, Beef Jerky, Orange Chicken, Pad Kee Mao, Charlie Special, and the Blueberry Milk Boba, have all been ordered repeatedly. They're so good I can barely decide what to order because I love all those dishes so much. But full disclosure I have also tried the Lemon Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Chicken Chowmein, Singapore Noodle, and Pad Thai, all of which were about a 6/10 but even though I didn't enjoy those dishes they were still edible which can't be said for every Thai restaurant I've tried over the years. And while I personally can't abide eating soup in the summer I've seen multiple people eating different soups and I'm dying for cold weather so I can try the Duck Noodle soup it...

Sadly, I wasn’t able to try the food due to the poor staff and organization first my order was lost. My daughter went in to pick up an order a man at the front told her they didn’t have any to go orders. I then again call the girl sounded so confused about my order, then calls me back and tells me my order has been sitting there. I called back and asked to speak with the manager. There’s not a manager on the scene to speak with so I tell THE young lady that this is really poor business and that I was gonna buy the food regardless until the Young lady started arguing with me. I watched my daughters Life360. The young lady continued to argue that no one came to get the order, so I decided to cancel my order. My order placed was a good $50 order typically we eat out once a week for asain food our bill is 50-150 depending on the guest our kids bring. Definitely a loss for...

We had lunch there. In the beginning, I asked if the shrimp was tempura and waitress said she didn’t know but she would check. She never got back with me so I thought it must be. My husband ordered sweet-and-sour chicken and white rice and got fried rice. He didn’t complain. I asked if I could substitute the soup for the rice and she said sure but then I was charged for the soup. It ended up that the shrimp was not tempura, but instead was frozen!!!
