Sunday evening, I bought a furniture set from your store based on the recommendation by Kevin. He assured me that I was getting a good price for the item. However, after I went home, I decided to check prices at other retailers and discovered that I had actually paid an overpriced amount for the exact same item. Tried to reach store, but due to lack of response, I went to store able to speak with Kevin and the owner. I explained the situation to both of them and showed them the lower prices I had found online, They confirmed that their prices were indeed higher. The owner did agree that his prices were higher compared to similar outlet furniture stores which he confirmed by checking online in Texas. When I asked the owner to either reduce the price or cancel the order, he threatened to charge me a restocking fee. I explained to him the difficulties I had faced in trying to reach someone for the past three days, including calling on Monday morning to request a hold on the order. Despite all this, I received no response from your store. After much discussion, the owner agreed to provide me with a recliner similar to the one I purchased, but without the massage and heat options. He assured me that it would be delivered within a week. However, its arrived after 2 weeks after multiple calls. The recliner was nowhere close to the quality of my sofa set. It is not leather, did not have a power recliner or cup holder, I am extremely disappointed with the lack of respect for my time and money, as well as the lack of customer service that I have experienced throughout this entire process. I expected better from your store, and I hope that you can understand my frustration. I kindly request that you address these issues and provide a satisfactory resolution. I believe it is only fair that I receive the furniture set that I paid for, or a suitable alternative that meets the same specifications.
