I hate leaving negative reviews but this morning I was threatened with being filed against for theft of service so I thought I would provide my side. TLDR at end of review. 8/21/24 Blake came to my house to have a look at my washer which has been absolutely noisy and “walked” across the floor when it was used, it definitely needed work. Blake was the nicest person and I loved that he was the one to be helping me. He let me know my washer needed some parts so he wrote out an invoice and I paid to have the part ordered and for the labor of install. By 8/29/24, a week later, I hadn’t heard anything so I called for an update. The receptionist answered, took my address and my information, I said I was just looking for an update on the part that was ordered so the work could get done. She asked if I spoke to a technician and I let her know yes, Blake had come to my house. She said he wasn’t in the office but that she would leave him a note on his desk and he’d give me a call. 9/5/24 I had not received a call back so I called again. I’m still only looking for some kind of update that the part had been ordered and to have an idea of when it would be in. The call went exactly the same as the last week, took my information, told me Blake wasn’t in the office but that she would leave a message for him to call me back. At this point I’m frustrated, I’m 3 weeks without a washer in a house of 3 working adults who need to be able to wash their clothes. Originally I didn’t check reviews before calling Super Appliance because they were recommended to me. After the second phone call I read the reviews and saw that this situation had happened multiple times to multiple customers. The almost $400 I paid for this part I could’ve spent with another company or simply bought a new appliance elsewhere. I reached out to my credit card company and was able to start a dispute on the transaction for services not rendered because I still have a broken washer at home and have not received even an update on the part I paid for. This morning 9/19/24 was the first time I have received a call back from Super Appliance and it was to threaten to file against me for theft of service. The VM left makes it sound as if they have the part, when they received it they could’ve given me word that they were ready for install and I would’ve gladly talked to my credit card company to have the dispute canceled. TLDR: I’ve called this company twice ONLY for an update on a part that I paid almost $400 for. (It’s 2024, I can see tracking information immediately after I place an order anywhere) Haven’t received a call back until this morning, weeks after the part was ordered, about filing against me for theft of service because I started a dispute with my credit card company for services...
Read moreOn June 18th we were told by Blake that we needed a pump assembly ($486.98) for our washer. He said he needed to order the part from Dallas. We later researched several companies and the highest price for a complete pump assembly is $60 or less. I called Super Appliance on June 24th wondering if they had the part. Blake came back on Tuesday, June 25th with the part and replaced it. He said he ran a cycle and it was working. He was not here longer than 30 minutes. The final bill was $527.16. We tried to run a load of laundry that afternoon and we had the same problem as before. I tried to call Blake twice that same day (6/25) to let him know it was not working and got a recording that no messages could be left. I then called the office (6/25) and spoke to a lady, telling her it wasn't fixed. She told me that someone would call. By midday on June 26th, I tried to call the office again and left a voice mail stating our problem. I called again later that afternoon and spoke to a gentleman about the problem. I stated that I had already spent over $500 and needed to have someone look at it and tell us where we go from here. His comment to me was "so you're ready to cut and run?" I said "no. I just need our washer fixed." He then said someone would call and set up a service call. That was on 6/26. I am writing this on 8/10 and still have not heard from them. We called another company first, who referred us to Super Appliance since they didn't work on that particular brand. Would rate Super Appliance a zero if that...
Read moreMy microwave went out several 3 times. I called Super 8 appliance and Tom came out the 1st time and said it was the magnetron. Paid about 400.00 then. It went out again in 9 months, so I called, Tom said not under any warranty. So he replaced it again, at that point and myself and ex-husband were watching him, so I asked Tom, how do you know it's the magnetron ? I had a witness, Tom stated at that point, because he has done this work for 17 years. I said ok, so paid about another 400.00. It went out within a week and he stated was covered but did not know when he had time to come. Waited a few months and he finally came and took it to the shop, about a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving, I called him and said hopefully he have it fixed before then. Still no phone calls or words. I called him about 6 weeks ago with another witness, he stated he needed the measurements, so they could get another microwave and they have a lot of money invested in it, so there would be another charge. I called him last week and said he would come out and measure too, the beginning of March 14th, he would try. No show again or phone call. Super 8 has had my microwave 7 months. I have been using a 50.00 microwave. I am tired of this ! You get no where being nice these days. If this isn't resolved next week, I file a complaint with the BBB even if you're not a member, go to small claims court with 2 witnesses and receipts, phone logs ect. Every time you call, the person who answers is...
