This store has just been newly redesigned, this was my 1st visit since the remodel. At first I was somewhat impressed with the new design and what appears to be an attempt to be a higher end department store. As I wound my way through the store however I became more and more aware at how badly it needed straightened. Though since it was late Saturday night this wasn't too surprising. Then I visited the toddler girls section looking for pajamas. I was shocked at the lack of choices and how they were shoved together on basically 2 racks together with the infant pajamas. There was a section to the left that was clearance, and initially I thought this might be clearance too as it was randomly organized and as stated, together with infants. But after further searching I learned this was not the case. I started noticing that many of the clothing sections had combinations of designs, as if there was no attempt at organization at all. It reminded me of shopping at a discount store like Ross or even a 2nd hand clothing store. I've seen this once at Kohl's too, and was not impressed. As I thought back on my stop I realized I had seen a total of 2 employees in the whole store; they were stopped visiting for a moment but did politely step back so I could pass with my cart. At this time of night of night and for the size of the store I should have seen dozens of people prepping their departments for the next day. Aside from that there were maybe 4 people up front helping people check out. I mentioned the organization to the cashier who seemed completely disinterested. He did managed to shove all my stuff into 1 bag though, and didn't see the need for a sack for another item. I can think of a few reasons for the lack of people. Corporate determined hours had ran out, so everyone was sent home; they simply don't care to support their store with proper staff, or maybe the staff hired decided they'd rather be doing anything else on a Saturday night. Either way I wasn't impressed. Based on how hard it was to find a simple pair of pajamas for a 4 year old I don't see any need...
Read moreI love target and I will continue shopping here, but I am writing this review to warn people to pay attention to their bags when they leave!!!
I just went to this location for spider spray and per usual ended up getting a bunch of other stuff. I got some hard seltzer and when I went to check out the 19-year-old wasn’t allowed to check me out so a different woman came up and checked me out.
I kind of noticed her doing something very strange while she was bagging my things. It was almost like she seemed confused about bagging, but in hindsight, I think she was planning on taking some of my things.
I left and drove home, which is about five minutes from target, went to get the bug spray to spray around my garage because I have spiders. It was then I realized an entire bag was missing.
I immediately got back in my car and went back there, so I had only been gone about 10 minutes. I immediately grabbed the woman that was acting strange as she was bagging me and she pretended like she had no clue who I was. Seriously lady, I was just here 10 minutes ago and you had to come over and check me out because I bought alcohol. May I say, sus?!?!
I then went to the first checkout girl and she said oh yes, that bag was left behind, but I don’t know where it is now. The first shady woman just kept saying “I don’t know where it’s at. I don’t know where it’s at. I don’t know where it’s at”.
She must’ve sent it at least five times before I said OK then what are we going to do about it because I still need my things and I paid for them. I ultimately had to cause a bit of a ruckus and get management involved. The manager treated me like I did something wrong, but I ultimately got my things back.
Target is awesome, we all know that, but I would suggest doing self check out at this location. There are thieves working there and managers that treat you like garbage when you tell them, I just wanted my things that I paid for lol (never mind the...
Read moreAfter multiple bad experiences at the Orem Target AF had become my go to store. They do have some amazing cashiers who were restoring my faith in Target. And then I had one of the WORST experiences ever while. Target is infamous for luring customers in with gift card deals when you buy products where customers could actually make money from buying the product. This particular deal was nation wide. The small cans of cat food were $.67 each and it was advertised that if you buy 2 you would get a $5 gift card. The register did not prompt the gift cards so I went to customer service where I was told that she would need approval. I had taken pictures of the signs on the shelves clearly stating the deal. The manager, male with long red hair, went back to the shelves and took down all the signs (15 minutes of me waiting at customer service) before coming up and offering me $10. I refused and asked for the $50 that the signs said I should have. I was firm but not rude. I did get the $50 but left feeling like they thought I was a criminal. Target called it a price mistake but corporate was aware HOURS before and if this was truly a price mistake they were concerned about, there was plenty of time to get the word out and remove the signs before customers came in. Being frugal and smart is not a crime and shouldn't be treated like one. Target is deceptive in their advertising and then leave it to managers to be the bad guys, its truly...
