Carriagetown Marketplace — Local services in Amesbury

The food is actually always good, but the service is ALWAYS terrible. Every single time I've gone here (6 or 7 at this point) I've waited for extended periods of time. Fifteen minutes just for server to come to table. Waited over an hour for food to come out and had to take it to go. Server not only didn't check on us during meal, no drink refills and we had to flag her down to get our check. Once I waited for ten minutes just for someone to acknowledge that we were even there to be seated, another time the people repeatedly kept coming into the entrance telling me it would just be a minute which lasted almost ten minutes.

I give this 3 stars. I stopped here to use the Chargepoint DC Fast charger which worked great at 44kw output, but the restaurants here are never open aside from Subway which the owners of Subway are cheap. They are picky about what they allow you to substitute on your sandwich, but they are still very nice, and even though they are picky they still made an exception for me. I got my haircut at Supercuts while I waited and my cut was great and service was fast. I'll be stopping here again in the future, as I only stop at shopping plaza's with EV charging...

I like this little plaza because you can go grocery shopping, eat at one of the restaurants, get your nails done. Then 2 minutes down the street is a McDonald's, gas station and dunkins. Then 2 minutes down the street in the other direction is a burger King, friendlys, and another gas station. Kind of sad that recently a lot of the spaces in the plaza have been out of business.
