Bueno Y Sano — Restaurant in Amherst

Vegetarian. Ordered a Seitan burrito and was given one with chicken instead. How do you make that mistake? I didn't realize until a few bites in because I had no reason to think they would give me anything other than what i'd ordered eight times in the last two weeks. I literally vomited. You don't accidentally switch a vegetarian's order for one with meat. That's a huge huge no-no; especially after they have been coming in almost every other day ordering the same protein (seitan) every single time, and were clear when they made their order. Was no given a recipt (didn't think much of it) and was called up to pick up my order and not told what it was when I picked it up. Why would it be anything other than what I ordered and was repeated back to me at the register?

A nice little burrito spot tucked away in the Amherst Center's busy lines of shops. Despite Bueno expanding more and more recently, they have safely retained the feel of an authentic Mexican burrito/quesadilla/taco restaurant, something that cannot be said for Moe's or Chipotle.

They're always busy, and that's because their food is phenomenal. As their website says, they've been "rolling fatties since 1995", and that is not an understatement. These burritos are massive, huge, BIG. Their contents are exceedingly fresh and gorgeously salivating.

Next time you want a burrito and don't want to go to a regular restaurant, skip Chipotle and Moe's and head to Bueno y Sano. This is how Mexican tortilla dishes are...

About a week ago I went to the Northampton location and ordered a burrito and 4 tacos. The woman said, there are two tacos per order, so you want two orders? I said yes, paid, took my order to go and got home having paid for two orders and received one order with two tacos. THEN, last night my husband went to the Amherst location and ordered 6 tacos no cheese on corn tortillas. He has a gluten allergy and I can't eat dairy. He picked them up at 6pm so when we both get home at 10 there's something to eat. The 6 tacos were in flour tortillas and had cheese. Neither of us got dinner.
