We recently moved to this area from the Midwest. A friend recommended this bike shop. I took my Trek Verve 2 in for a much needed tune up. You just don't realize how much you struggle with your bike until you've had some professional tune up and adjustments. It rides, shifts and stops so smoothly now. It's amazing! The staff here are courteous, social and very knowledgeable. Price for the tune up was very reasonable. I'm going to bring my wife's bike in next week. This will be my bike shop from here out. Thank you Hampshire Bicycle Exchange! Update 1117/20 I brought me ebike here recently. I had ridden it over 2,000 miles this year and had a crash where the bike slid out from under me on a sharp curve. At about 17 mph. These wonderful technicians straightened it out, tuned and tweaked it back to OE condition and it's like a new bike all over. And for a very reasonable price. I just can't express how happy I am with this shop. Knowledgeable friendly people. Good clean, up to date facility. I would give them 10 stars if it were possible.There are a dozen bike shops between me in Ludlow and them in Amherst but I wouldn't go anywhere else....

I assembled my bike myself at first, but the right break did not work. So, I came to this bike shop to get it checked over again. They said "all done" so I went there to pick it up. After I picked it up, I brought it to my place. After I rode the bike for 2 mins, the seat started to shake hard. The seat started to move. I was on the bike road ( next to the car road) when I was riding the bike, which was the first time to ride it after I picked it up. I fell down as I lost my center of gravity when I realized it. Still cannot believe how this basic thing was not checked even though I paid about $90 for this whole check up. I got hurt on my left leg and hip. Most of all, it ruined my day because of their non-professional work. They said two guys usually check it before pickup...but wait what...? How can I trust them..? I highly recommend you NEVER go to this shop if you care about safety. It is my first time that I DO want to leave my review with "unlimited...
