I visited this shop to inquire about a gun purchase. The sales staff was helpful and nice so when I received my permit, I returned to make a purchase. Wanting to buy from a local small business, I did not do a price comparison and just made the purchase. I later found out I was overcharged. I priced it at several places online and at the gun shop down the road. Even at the highest price, I was overcharged over $200. When the gun was ready for pickup, I went back to speak to them. No reason for the inflated price was given to me and I was offered a refund. But they took a 5% for a credit card fee (which they should not have done - and even that was over-charged as credit card fees are approx 3%) It cost me $60 to return a gun I never took ownership of. I gave 2 stars as I mentioned the sales staff was very nice and helpful but the owner took advantage of a first time gun owner... I am a business owner, as well, and have never wrote an online review before. But, I could not let this pass without letting anyone, considering this store, know to do their...

Unbelievable service. Worked with Garret and Ken. Everyone was super friendly and personable. I was trying to rent a boat to go rowing with my 3 year old and Garret went above and beyond to make sure that we were safe and had a good time. Garret took the time to launch a boat for us off season. He brought a boat that he thought was a good fit to the launch specially for us. He made sure that we had everything that we needed. When our hour rental was almost up he canoed to us on the lake to make sure that we were ok and didn't need help. After we returned to the dock he even tried catching some little fish for my daughter. Awesome guy. Great store. They have everything from fishing gear, boats, to guns and bows. Great place....

Disappointed. Called the store 5 times the morning we were to have our rented kayaks delivered to lake aeroflex. Received no answer, then on the 6th call an answer to when I asked about where they were, the person on the phone said, you have to come here first. On arrival I asked why wasn't I told on the phone. Prices to rent kayaks on line were less than half what I had to pay when I arrived. Person on the phone never said to stop at store first to sign paperwork, so more than 15 minutes wasted after waiting at the lake for them to arrive. Had heard good things, but this did not impress me. Sorry...
