Crossed Keys Inn — Restaurant in Andover

Sadly, a very poor experience. First, there was only one person who was the server for the entire restaurant as well as the bartender. She tried but it was way to much to cover so as you can imagine the service was poor. Second, the food. We were so hopeful after getting the meatball appy. It was delicious, thats where it ended. The vegetable lasagna had a 1" section of the edge and the bottom that was burnt and black. The salmon was covered in peanuts but there was no description of peanuts on the menu. While not allergic, I don't like peanuts. You have to indicate if food contains nuts! It was also very salty in a teriyaki type sauce. An indicator to a restaurant is when patrons don't eat the food and don't wish to take it home there was a problem but no one asked. We watched as no less that 15 people walked out and had conversations with two other couples who had the same feelings as us. We were so hopeful as we used to dine here many years ago.
