Service deplorable without apology. Sat afternoon, not crowded. I give very few 1 stars and almost never send anything back to the kitchen.
5 of us, 3 well mannered kids.
Started out on wrong foot when all drafts were not working but waiter implied that my selection was available in bottle, when it wasn't. No big deal things happen.
Placed our orders. App came out ... took way too long ... and the cheese was runny and tasteless. 1 star. Ate it because everyone hungry. Still not the end of the world.
Meals arrived ... kids meal #1, kids burrito.. Beef w/ cheese w/ no sauce on top. Recieved no sauce ... and no cheese! There were 3 small shredded melted pieces of cheese the size of finger nail clippings.
Adult meal #1, burrito bowl .. Cold, and my wife ate 1/3 of it and rated it a 2 star.
Adult meal #2, ordered the arroz con pollo, no onions or peppers, extra mushrooms.. delivered with onions, peppers, and mushrooms. Called the waiter over, explained the error, and said I would deal with it. No apology. He came back 5 minutes later, and I told him to leave it, and I would pick around the onions and peppers. He reached in front of me and grabbed the plate and said he would have a new one made. 15 minutes later, and nearly everyone at table was getting near finishing waiter returned with a serving half the size of the first one, with NO onions, peppers OR mushrooms! I was not amused.
I moved the meal untouched to the side, and waited for the waiter to return. I explained the issue and he was unapologetic. Asked him to remove the item from the bill.
I ate some of the kids fries, and I had a bite of one of the kids burgers and was unimpressed by both 1-2 star range.
The bill arrived, still no apology, nor were we asked if we wanted anything else.
Offending meal not on bill, but charged $3 each for each kids soda ... 6 ounce sizes. Free size drinks at most restaurants.
Paid the bill and 10% tip. Reflecting now, not even sure why I tipped the 10% when service was so poor.
Was here 12 years ago when we were in the area and it was a 5 star experience. This visit could have been about the waiter alone, but quality of food from kitchen...
Read moreIâve literally never written a bad review before (outside of one place that was literally closed multiple times, so people like me wouldnât drive out there without calling) but this place had me shocked. Iâve ordered from here before, and occasionally theyâve forgotten pieces when they were busy but they would always gladly provide them after asking.
This time we ordered normal tacos with multiple fillings on their website. It was listed on the order and the receipt. We only got shells with a small amount of meat inside.
Figured it wasnât on purpose so we called and for 10 minutes they kept asking the same questions and trying to argue that this was actually the correct order until they finally agreed. Was gonna just leave it at that but when I picked it up, the lady told me to âcheck my order carefully next timeâ. I showed her the receipt and that my order was in fact what I wanted, and she told me her manager told her she couldnât put the toppings on because even though the website allows you to select some toppings for free and order, you have to pay extra for them. I told them that they should change their website not to let you add stuff for free if you canât actually have it, and that $17 plain chicken meat inside a shell and a small salad when it promised a full taco is insane. She said it was âjust the systemâ and they canât do anything about it??
Anyways, if you want to eat here, donât order online. Iâm sure eatting in is fine. I just wonât be coming back here again because the idea they think they can promise me full tacos on their website and give me the saddest looking tacos Iâve ever seen because the manager decided theyâd rather just lie about what youâre getting on the website than actually just fixing the site or providing the customer what they...
Read moreCome for the hearty dishes and generous portions, stay for their amazing margaritas! Casa Blanca brings all the comfort south of the border to the convenience of Andover's town square here on Main. You can't go wrong with any of their dishes, and I've settled into a dangerous, resolution-destroying habit of ordering their delicious nachos supreme with a fajita combo each time I'm in here.
Their margaritas are the real star of the drink menu, with the Casa Gold being a tried-and-true favorite amongst all of their tequila-based drinks I've tipped. However, it also stands to note that their mojitos are a refreshing cousin concoction that doesn't disappoint either!
Wait times aren't great during peak hours if you're here with more than three people. I've always kept my party slim to ensure quick seating on the weekends.
If this review was helpful, please consider a thumbs up. It would be greatly...
