It’s never too late for a review, right?! My experience is from about a year ago. I took them my wedding band. The main rock, an Australian black opal, had fallen out and I asked them to fix it for me. They were happen to help. No problems yet. But then when I returned to pick up my ring everything changed. I stood there looking it over. I noticed a crack in my opal and mentioned it had been broken and most definitely was not cracker when I brought it to them. Sally, the senior customer experience director of the Angola store, then began to fight with me telling me I was wrong about that. In attempt to prove me wrong, she grabbed tools and a magnifier to show me it was fine. But it wasn’t. She was literally chipping pieces of my rock off. She then agreed it was broke and they had to fix it. I was very upset. I provided info on the AAA grade of the Australian opal I had. She said they would get some of the same grade in for me to pick from. But could not provide and proof that I was receiving the same grade of rock. When it was complete, again, the gemologist handed me my “new” ring. I then asked for my old broken rock. The gemologist then gave me a dirty look and asked why. I said because that rock was special to me and you broke it. He retrieved it and tossed it over the counter at me! I still do not even know if I got the same grade of rock replaced. For all I know, they ripped me off. The people running the Angola location are very rude! Especially if you don’t look like their ideal customer… someone rich looking to spend a lot of money. I sent a text to a wonderful friend who is the manager of Peter Franklin Jewelers here in Angola, IN and told her I would be in shortly to grab a gift. She informed me that they close this location at 4:00 pm on Saturday’s. It was already 4:40 pm. I told her I was gonna be in the dog house but I understood because I had waited so long. She text me back and said that she was going back into town and would meet me there in 10 minutes. I showed up she was already there and she knew exactly what I was looking for. Made the purchase and my girlfriend is so happy with the gift. This type of actions is what doing business is all about. She could have easily said to come in Monday but she made the effort to go out of her way to make a customer happy. Thanks again Lexy for your prompt response and caring attitude....

The price was definitely on the more expensive side, however the in person service and jewelry we got was beautiful. FAST FORWARD 2/3 weeks after we get the bracelets 2 out of the 3 of us had our bracelets fall off. Specifically mine I put on my NON DOMINATE hand like they suggest - my bracelet literally fell off while I was sleeping. I’m pretty disappointed as the price was PRICEY. I know they will put it back on at no cost (as they should) HOWEVER I thought it would be more durable… ESPECIALLY for falling off while IM ASLEEP IN BED.
