My wife and I are updating our 100+ year old home, removing wooden shutters in two rooms that had been in place for 25 years. We were interested in Hunter Douglas blinds. Many years ago, Delux previously installed blinds for us in other rooms. Though we shopped around this time, we called Delux - again. Others are informed and competent and mostly quote comparable prices, but our experience has taught us that it's important to have access to post installation support when investing in quality blinds. Delux has reliably helped us with a rare repair or adjustment over the past many years, a comprehensive service that matters.

Lulu visited our home for this project with an encyclopedic knowledge of window treatment options, catalogues and color samples, but more importantly, with solid decorating taste, a real eye for color and great judgment. She's not afraid to offer a thoughtful opinion. We had two rooms with subtly different trim colors and her recommendations were flawless. We would not hesitate to ask Lulu back for any decorating challenge in the future.

Delux Drapery and Shade has earned the distinction as my favorite business in town. This group goes way above and beyond in their delivery of quality products and services. Last time I visited, I couldn’t find a solution to the light streaming through my large windows in the bedroom at night. One business offered to sell me heavy drapes that would block our scenic back yard view ($4,000) and I said “no thanks”. Delux ( Linda and Steve) suggested PERFECT black out shades at less than half the cost and they fully retract during the day. That was last time…….

This time we had a couple of damaged wooden blinds. One upstairs and one downstairs. The place they were purchased is out of business. These shades are on every window in our house so we are not keen on a full replacement for three slats. 🎶🎶🎶🎶. Delux Drapery to the rescue!!!! Who else?? I’ll tell you… no one else…. We had to replace 30 year old vertical blinds in our living room but couldn't find anything of quality in the big box stores. Our cat can't deal with curtains or other blinds. Only vertical blinds let him access the window without getting into serious feline mischief. Fortunately, Deluxe Drapery carried the quality blinds we were looking for. They did a great job explaining the product and Corrine came to the house to measure our windows and was very helpful in showing us the many samples of designs/patterns available for the vanes. We found exactly what we were looking for. The blinds were ready for delivery before we had finished updating the floors and walls in our living room.
