Hello, i am a Full Time employee at a hotel on Jackson Rd Ann Arbor, and i always recommend this locations pizza to our guest. Unfortunately, Upon calling about a 10th signature, i was treated very rudely by a worker by the name of Chris. On 01/27/19 Close to 9 pm the time i actually called the store was at 8:53pm i talked to a lady she was kind. I explained to her was that i gave the pizza sign sheet to the delivery driver to sign he took it gave it back and said bye. We normally just give the free item to our night auditor or to our workers on day shift because they cant leave the property and basically asking if it was okay to write it in. She said sure let me see what i could do for you and i was waiting on hold while checking in guest realizing the phone had disconnected so i called back and a male answered the phone he told me his name was Chris. He was VERY rude to me. I want to say this first and foremost i don't eat pizza but i do recommend their business to a lot of guest because we are always full. He said to me first this line is being recorded just so you know and i said okay.. i'm just calling because we have one more signature to get from you guys and was wondering if it was okay for me to write it down something because i handed to the driver he took it and just gave it back without a signature and i just wanted to give it to my night audit so he could have a free pizza he said to me its just a signature its not a big deal its not going to do anything for you i said i know its not going to do anything for me but it will for my night audit he says you can write something there but its not a big deal all you get is a free pizza we don't get anything out of it i said well we bring you guys business he said HOW? I'm curious to know what you guys do for us . i told him that when many of our guest are looking for food to be delivered and ask me what pizzas do i recommend we recommend you guys and he goes "oh" so i will not be recommending cottage inn on stadium when i am working because i didn't do anything to deserve rude customer service from someone who obviously doesn't seem to like their job much. I do not want anything in return but i did want to make you guys aware of the treatment i received from just calling in. Thank you for taking the time out to read...

The concensus landed on pizza, because why not?! So instead of getting something from a larger chain, we opted for Cottage Inn. Let me just say that we were ECSTATIC we did! Happy pizza dances were had!
We did a split, round, medium pizza with breadsticks and two oreo shakes. The breadsticks are SO GOOD!! We're partial to soft, doughy, garlicky breadsticks so if you're not in that club, you won't like these. If you are, you'll LOVE them! The buttery goodness lifted our spirits.
For our pizza, we split half with pepperoni and feta, the other half sausage and onion, with mushrooms on the whole thang. The veggies are under the cheese, which was more than abundant and gooey and overall the topping ratio was impressive. Now, the shakes were a random move but turned out to be a great decision. I called ahead to see what the dirty shamrock consisted of, so if you're curious it's chocolate and mint. But yes, the shakes were delicious as well. If there were a Cottage Inn near us in Indianapolis, consider me a return customer.
We were staying at the Wyndham hotel nearby and our driver actually called to ensure he was able to find us. He delivered to our room! Which is such a small, but nice gesture that saved us some convenience. So big thank you to our driver for that extra effort.
Food can make or break your night and we were already having a rough one, so the fact that Cottage Inn delivered quickly and our order was not only accurate, but delicious made our night much better....
Read moreI have seen some of the bad reviews and I think that these are somewhat biased. Hungry people that are drunk/on a long trip tend to think that they are being taken advantage of or being forsaken.
Realistically places are busy on the weekends. Realistically places are short staffed after Covid. If you think you can expect service industry people to cater to your every need in such a minute window, then go to a hotel with a kitchen in the suite. The price difference is about the same after you account for things you bring/buy to make dinner.
This is a great franchise/company that has served me well over 30 years on and off. I've lived around the country (USA) and had many pizza chains of similar level help me out. This one just happens to be from my home town. If the place isn't doing what you want after Covid, you might actually be the problem, not the people working there.
Enjoy the great pizza and lower your expectations of service staff wiping your butt for low pay. I do not work for this company, I have never worked for this company. I just think that most people need to get there "stuff" together and stop blaming the little guys for...
