This chain restaurant is a perfect example of a place degrading over time. For years I frequented this location getting their wonderful Indonesian Peanut Saute and their potstickers which were always solidly executed and tasty. Eventually the menu item was replaced with the Korean Beef Noodles. This new dish was tasty overall, compared to the outgoing menu item the new dish felt "cheap" with the usage of ramen noodles reminiscent of a 25 cent block that you'd get at the grocery and was often overly salty. This encouraged me to bop around the menu a bit and try other things. While I found some other things I liked the overall quality started to go down hill. From the time they started practically demanding that the customer fill out a survey at check out it seemed like the beginning of the end of good food. (Yes I know they offered a "free appetizer" for filling a survey, but even that isn't enough to make me want to return at this point.) The last time I ate there my noodles were under cooked, the dish was over sauced, and the added meat was rubbery. They get two starts because they've never made me sick, but that seems like a pretty basic thing for a restaurant...
Read moreThis Noodles and company is not ADA compliant. About a year or so ago my family stopped here to eat. I have a service dog and two of my children are special needs. The manager demanded that we sit outside and would not allow my service animal inside the restaurant claiming that a local city ordinance only allowed "seeing eye dogs" inside. Not only was that false, it's irrelevant because of federal law. In order to not upset my children, we moved our family to the outdoor patio. The patio smelled like sewage and my autistic son would not eat because of it. Even after I pulled up information explaining the law to the manager on duty, he continued to argue with me and insist that I could not come inside. He also insinuated that I was lying about my service animal and that many people who had come into that Noodles and Company in the past with service animals were lying about their status. I emailed corporate about this experience. They replied that they would look into it and get back to me. They never did. They seem completely unconcerned about discrimination against persons with disabilities in their...
Read moreThis place is genuinely terrible and promotes lying and deceit in their business practice. I ordered 30$ worth of food on June 17th (admittedly about an hour before closing time but still) and had my partner pick it up to drop off at my place of work immediately after. As soon as I opened it, I realized both orders were atrociously prepared with no sauce on the underdone noodles for one order and rancid spinach on the other. I immediately called and spoke to the manager, offering to have my partner turn around to come get the food and bring it back to the restaurant for a refund and the manager insisted there would be no need, additionally stating that I'd "see my refund by the following Thursday because the Juneteenth holiday would delay my refund." Well, it's been weeks and I have yet to receive a penny. Such a shame and bad practice to have management actively lie to customers who were willing to return the garbage...
