Thank Goodness for Brookshire's in Anna, TX, and their friendly, professional, considerate staff! When you forget the cranberry sauce and it's YOUR MAIN CONTRIBUTION to your first Thanksgiving with your in-laws, it takes a well-prepared, smiling, helpful team to rescue you from certain doom (or at LEAST the neverending notoriety at future family gatherings!)!

Seriously, I have to give this location SERIOUS kudos! They were well-stocked and, despite being among the few people having to work on a major family holiday, even abbreviated hours, every single person I came across working there was friendly and eager to help (LITERALLY smiling as they responded to any customer who approached, and some even proactively approaching customers to ask if they could assist in any way). They truly seemed happy to be able to help their community.

Whoever is the training manager and hiring manager for this store should be recognized for a job more than well-done. The last few years have been difficult for everyone, and while these days most stories we see in the media and online make it seem like everyone is wearing misery, resentment, and entitlement like a favorite sweater, these folks genuinely reminded me of what holidays past were like in the sales and service industries.

There are several reasons why I enjoy this grocery store. Yes, it’s a lot smaller than other stores. That’s one of the reasons why I like it though. It is not a madhouse of people shoulder to shoulder constantly pushing each other trying to find the cheapest deal on something. It is much more casual and relaxed. Also, 99% of their shopping carts have proper wheels on them. I have completely abandoned Kroger for this reason. 100% of Kroger grocery carts are garbage with busted wheels. Brookeshire’s works hard to keep their grocery carts. Nice. I appreciate that and shop in their stores as a result. Even though our supply chain is still challenged, Brookshires does a good job of keeping the shelves stocked with plenty of inventory. I respect and appreciate them for that. 2 years ago i heard about this mom and pop supermarket called Brookshires and never been to it. So on my vacation recently i went to take a visit!! The store is really big and strucures looks really cool!!! The Staff are Very Friendly and Work really hard!! Inside the store it gave me a vibe of Walmart + IGA Rowes Stores setting. The logos and letters were pretty cool!! i found some inexpensive chicken tenders and i gotta say they were pretty pretty good!! rating 1000000 star rating!!! while shopping i manage to find Mountain Dew Throwback with Real Sugar!!
