Alabama Power Company — Local services in Anniston

We have had downed powerlines behind our house for 4 days now and no one has even come to check on anything. Our children are freezing without heat or hot water and we keep having to direct traffic and people around the tree and powerlines still in the road. This company has done nothing even though we have reported it more than once now. We are lucky the lines havent started a fire yet and destroyed the surrounding homes but I've mentioned this to Alabama Power and the call operator seemed to not even care and just said they dont have an estimated time to be out. It's been 4 days now and still no power. My Nana and I have found out from a neighbor that at least half of our neighborhood has been restored while our half still remains in the dark. Do you even know how cold it gets at night? West 55th Street in Saks and the rest of Calhoun County and other counties in the state need power. Got home only to find a tree had fallen & tore the mast off the house. Power was still on? 1st visit was from AP that told me I would have to get an electrician to fix the mast. Electrician came at dark and fixed it. AP came back and got our power going. I know how dangerous a job is. My nephew has worked for years repairing lines!
