Dark Horse Saloon — Restaurant in Anniston

I was at this bar last night. I don’t usually go to bars, and I usually don’t go for reasons like this. So I commend this place for reminding my why I don’t go out. When me and the girl I was with came in, it was an older lady bartending. She was very respectful and did a great job. However, later on a younger female with dark hair and tattoos came in (I don’t know her name). I VERY POLITELY asked her for a drink for me and the girl I was with, and was met with a very bad attitude and her rolling her eyes at me. She didn’t even say wether she was gonna make our drinks or not and just walked to the other side of the counter. I DID NOT say anything directly to the young bartender but I did turn and make a (very rude) comment about her to the person I was with. This bartender was LISTENING IN on what I said to the girl I was with and then very aggressively asked what I said in MY personal conversation. I asked her to come closer to me if she wanted to hear what I said and she refused so I told her what I said and she had me removed from the bar. I would completely understand if I directly said something rude to her, my issue is that she interjected herself into a private conversation and used it for some kind of power trip to be able to kick me out.

She works with the public, people are gonna say things she doesn’t like. If she’s gonna try that hard to pay that close attention to comments about her service that she doesn’t like and get THAT upset about it, she needs to find a new line of work. If I was the owner of this bar I wouldn’t want a bartender like that working for me.

I also tried calling multiple times and I believe it was the same girl who was answering the phone while I was asking to speak with a boss or a manager and she was claiming to be the owner, which I’m pretty sure it was just the young bartender trying to cover...

I am not one to ever review places but I Went and paid for everyone in my group cover charge (I had followed another bouncer to the bar to pay with my card my friends followed) after paying our cover charge to buy drinks the lady at the bar said we all had to be stamped. We all walked back to the bouncer to get stamped and I went to hand one of the people in my group a 20 dollar bill but the bouncer and my friend went to grab at the same time. The 20 hit the floor and the bouncer immediately started yelling and grabbed my friend and threw him out. After talking to the owner nothing was resolved. The bouncer then went on to say that my friend snatched my debit card but I said that wasn’t true bc I had it in my hand...

Do not go to this bar unless you’re going to walk on eggshells the whole time. A friend of mine was roughed up by a bouncer for “snatching his cover money”. My friend was sober and is a very friendly and happy guy. The manager was brought outside with the bouncer and the bouncer continued to lie to her and argued with my friend outside. Very very childish and immature people who work up here. The bouncers try to be “hard” but they all look like they kiss boys behind the building. Very sad that these people let their title get to their head while they probably only make $13 an hour and a few tips. Extremely immature, would...
