Decided to eat here after so long due to new summer items... Today kinda reminded me why I have not been in a while. 😍 Carhop was engaging, attentive, and charming. The small slushie I tried was so-so. It was the blueberry lavender with the cold foam, tho the cold foam wasn't on it sadly 😥. Food was hot, which was a medium frito pie and 6 cheddar peppers. No dipping sauce was placed in the bag for peppers. Not sure if that was my fault when I ordered through the app, but, I digress. Those were good, full, big, and worth the money... However, the frito pie wasn't. My total for the 3 items was $15ish which included a slushie discount and tip (I had recently learned, carhops depend heavily on being tipped, as I was misinformed in the past, so obviously I try to pay a fair tip and today it happened to be $3.) So with that being said, the medium frito pie was medi-ocre if you want a chuckle 🤷♀️. It wasn't worth the amount spent. It looked like more fritos were there than chili, and lets not even talk about the cheese. Imagine the smallest latel scoop. For a medium. Call me crazy, but I could of swore it was better than that. Coworkers agreed as well.... Next time I'll take a picture if it happens again (no time today) and I can either apologize or offer criticism again 😆....Not to sound "big back-ish" about the cons 🫣...but I feel its kinda went down hill...Thank you for the positives... Read moreMy desire to order from Sonic has heavily diminished lately. I placed an order with their app and the Sonic app said my card had been declined but my bank said the charge went through. There were sufficient funds on the card so there shouldn't have been a problem. I showed the manager the bank activity showing the 2 $15 transactions from Sonic after I'd argued for a good 5 minutes that although the order has never been received inside that it in fact had been paid for. They told me that they have absolutely nothing to do with the app. Have absolutely no control over it or any idea what was going wrong and why so I had to call the 1800number in the app and was told it would be up to 24 hours before the money would be back in my account from the failed order attempt. At this point 45 minutes had already passed while trying to handle the situation and it was nearly 80 degrees outside and my car overheats with the AC on so now I'm irritated, burning up with a newly developed headache as a result and still unable to order the freaking ice cream so I left and went to Dairy Queen and got my shake there. This has happened the past 2 times I've tried to order from Sonic and I'm not too impressed with...
Read moreWe visited Sonic a few weeks ago through the sonic app. When we arrived, they were slammed with orders. A car hopper named Nicholas was going above and beyond rushing the orders out quickly and correctly. Nicholas has such an upbeat positive high energy that is contagious. When he approach our car, he read out our order without missing a beat. He was super nice and made our overall experience the best ever at Sonic. Since that night, we have been occasionally visiting Sonic at that location only because we really love the service that Nicholas gives us. A couple times we didn't get Nicholas we got someone else, they are great too, but no one compares to his wonderful personality. You can clearly tell that he takes great pride in his job and he really enjoys to be there. Tonight we came prepared, and was able to bless this man with a 10 dollar tip. We wish we had more to give, because he deserves blessings on top of blessings. I hope this guy gets everything he wants in life. If you ever get a pleasure to meet him, you will definitely see what I am talking about! Sonic please give this man a raise!!
