Rack & Roll Billiards and Sports Bar — Restaurant in Anniston

Great place for lunch and a game of pool!! Friendly staff, great food and huge pool tables!! Im assuming the pool tables are competition size pool tables but bigger than what im accustomed to..they also have drink specials at certain times and beer selection was tough, as there was so many to choose from...bar area was kinda small, but sufficient for cocktails; huge room adjacent to the bar with booth style seating that would seat quite a few patrons and numerous pool tables!! Very cool spot right downtown, was very reasonably priced on their food..bartenders were very personable and gave service with a smile!! Would recommend if you want a good meat an two for lunch or just for cocktails and a game of pool!! Only thing i disliked was, NO smoking!!..had to go outside, which was a bummer for me, BUT is great for those that dont try to kill themselves with the cancer causing tobacco products that I choose to inhale!😧..GREAT time at this establishment...

Effnas was closed so we dipped in here instead w/ no pre-conceptions of what to expect. Here’s what we found:

1. Although most tables were high-tops, there was a handicapped accessible table available.
2. Music was good, a mix of current and past tunes. Not so loud you couldn’t enjoy conversation, but loud enough you can sing along softly without feeling like you’re on the karaoke stage.
3. There was a wee bit of a wait but it was lunchtime after there appeared to be only two servers.
4. The burgers are hand-fashioned, not the frozen, perfectly round slop that other restaurants use.
5. The sweet potato casserole was just sweet enough and the perfect size serving for lunch.
6. The fries were “real good.”
7. They didn’t skimp on toppings — the classic burger had everything on it add the black-n-bleu burger was not slim on blue cheese. Highly recommend...

We had a most pleasant surprise awaiting us when we ate lunch at Rack and Roll billiards Sports bar today! Kayla recommended the Hamburger steak and the grilled zucchini and Squash! They were both delicious and their cornbread was equally impressive along with mashed potatoes and mac-n-cheese! We will absolutely be eating out at this sports bar regularly! I will also be taking advantage of their great selection of craft beers and bring my pool cue out of retirement to play some billiards with my brother-in-laws and all of our wife's! Kayla was so sincere and courteous to us which made the overall experience that much more satisfying! We just relocated to Anniston about 3 weeks...
