Had my child’s party here many times in the past. When I booked the party I was never told policy changed. I was told there was an upped price in bringing in your own food which was fine. $20 no issue, since I was bringing in the cake. First they had me down as a package party meaning $25 per kid, and I purchased only the $12 package. Long story short I get there, and the co worker had my daughters party for another month (thankful I had my deposit paperwork with her party date) then claiming it was $12 per item of food or drinks . I stopped that and said no I was told a flat price and that’s all I’m paying. Long story short they gave me 3 different prices. One of the female managers came up to me more than 6 times about the issues which she should have said something before or after the party or even pulled me aside. Another note she called the cops and the cops laughed and told Antioch lanes they can sue me lol and they took the money $182 and I went on my day . Stand ur GROUND. get it in writing. I would love to give this place 5 stars, but we had a less than okay visit here today. My boyfriend and I ordered food while bowling and he received some Bosco sticks that were cooked in a very interesting way. They were mostly overcooked and slightly undercooked on one side. The girl cooking didn't have her long hair pulled or tucked back and said she didn't notice that they were cooked terribly. However, she put the undercooked sides face down so that it wouldn't be obvious. We had also noticed that she was rather focused on her phone instead of her job. I also thanked her for my chicken tenders when she set them down and she rolled her eyes and walked away. Normally , we have a great experience here, but today was not worth it. It must feel awful to be so terrible at such an easy job. I notice that the owner often dismisses poor reviews, but I have pictures to prove it. I was very excited to see that this place was re opening. My friend wanted to celebrate her birthday there, not a party, just friends and family bowling. We went on a weekend, that day they said they were open until 2am. We set up a tab so that we could play as many games as we wanted. They advertised cosmic bowling, $2 games, $2 shoes. We played a few games, it was around 11:30 pm and we were the only ones left in the bowling alley. They turned off all the music, and turned all the lights back on. We could tell that they wanted us to leave, so we did. When we went to pay, the bill was higher then we were expecting. When we asked about it, the girl told us it was because the shoes were $2 PER game, PER person, which was not what was advertised. I left a review on their website and the owner commented, saying that it didn’t happen and that there was no way their system could charge per game for shoes.
