Starbucks — Restaurant in Antioch

Edit: 8/30/24 I came back and it was even worse than last time. To save my time and yours I'll give quick details. My egg bites that I ordered we still frozen when the lady handed them to me. (She had glasses and maybe in her 20's) She took them back and reheated them. I asked for no strawberries in my strawberry refresher, they put in strawberries. I told her, she realized her mistake, I kept it anyway. (She was a shorter girl with short brown hair) And my husband's coffee had other ingredients in it and it had to be remade. I addition to that mess even mine and the other customers after me received our food before the two men ahead of all of us. This place is a joke!

This place needs help and proper training for its staff. It was my turn to give my order and when I said light ice in my Strawberry refresher she told me it costs extra. When I asked why, she told me in a defensive tone because they have to use extra strawberry syrup and told me it's always been like that. Um, not it's has not. I've been ordering this drink this way for years and I've never, ever been told that. Fine, I'll pay the extra dollar. Then the ladies who were making the drinks for the customers were in no hurry at all whatsoever. We were all looking at each other like let's move it a little. So the guys order in front of me and myself had to wait even longer because the people who ordered after me got their drinks before us! How does that even work out?! Isa, Abigail, Emily, Julian, Raymond and countless others who work at this Starbucks inside the Jewel Antioch grocery store are the sweetest! Amazing customer service, great conversationalist, beautiful smiles on their faces when you walk in. They could have a million people waiting for their orders to be done the staff still manages to keep it together and have a great attitude. I go to this jewel pretty often and have gotten to know the starbucks staff very well over the year I've been living here. Use to love it but they always Say we are out of this and that instead of telling people were dropping things from our menu . Wheres all the refresher drinks ? Or why pay more for a large when all the liquid will fit in a medium? Or you Save points to get a cup for them to say no were limiting on how long you can save your points.
