We've ordered for delivery & pickup four/five times from Wings Etc, Antioch and three times three times our orders didn't come with the request sauce for the wing. Twice we had ordered for pickup so we had to call & go back for the sauces. One visit when we went back the girl gave us 2 tiny containers, 4oz total, for our 66 wings!!! FOUR OUNCES FOR 66 WINGS.
The last time, about 4/5 weeks ago, we order for delivery. Our order consisted of a 50 pcs wings, extra crispy with hot buffalo sauce on the side, a 16 pcs wings, extra crispy with tweener & Asian sauce on the side & a 20 pc celery. The celery was obviously old, dark cut ends & very stringy & bitter - not fresh.
Again, we had a sauce issue we recieved ZERO sauce for our 50 pcs and they were not cooked long enough to crisp up. After starting my oven to air fry the wings to crisp, like I ordered, I called Wings Etc. The girl told me, "you have to call door dash since that's how you ordered".
I actually ordered directly from the Wings Etc, Antioch website. I had no idea "delivery" meant a third part was delivering and not someone from the restaurant.
So, I called doordash. After 10 mins on hold with them they told me I had to call the restaurant. I called Wings Etc, Antioch back & asked for the manager. The same girl answered that previously told me to call DD so I'm sure the manager already heard the synopses of the is no sauce.
Upon retelling the sauce issue to the manager he stated, "you have to call DoorDash, that would be their problem". I asked if DoorDash PREPARED the food, "NO". I asked if DoorDash PACKED the food, "NO". So, "how is this a DoorDash problem?" - After some mumbling, the manager told me, "DoorDash delivered it".
He told me there was nothing he could do, however, he will give me a credit on our next order. This was incredible to me, we just spent $120. Even after I asked him to call DD to come back & pick up the sauce he said he couldn't.
We have a business in Antioch also & I we go above & beyond for our clients so I couldn't imagine this, "no big deal" attitude.
Needless to say we would never go or order from Wings...
Read moreBefore covid was a thing, my husband and I would go to Wing's, Etc. for date night so we are pretty familiar with the dining experience they have to offer.
Until recently, it has been a great place to meet for a beer or cocktail, have something to eat and, if you're lucky, catch a game from your favorite sports team.
NOT TRUE ON 03/06/2021.
We were fully expecting it to be a decent night out but we wouldn't give it a half of a star with what we recently experienced. It's especially sad because it happened on the epic of all "date night" nights...our Wedding Anniversary!!
We decided to sit at the bar to watch the "UFC 259 prelims" and right off the bat, the service at the bar was awful. Then, my margarita was awful. It was so sour that it wasn't even drinkable! Rather than making me a new drink, the bartender tried to fix my too sour margarita with lemonade 😐 and to no avail so I ordered a Corona. (We ended up having to pay $6 bucks for that awful margarita. Not cool.)
The meal they delivered to me was wrong so while they were fixing it, my husband had to eat without me or his food would have been cold. The food we got that night was barley mediocre so we'd give it a C-.
Our Anniversary dinner ended up being a total bust but we're hoping this last visit was just a fluke and not their...
Read moreWe had an order from doordash. The food was packed with care, which insured everything arrived in tact. The Cajun Mac and cheese is incredible. Nice kick but balanced with flavor and not melt your face heat. Plus the noodles weren't mushy. The wing sampler was incredible. I got the tweener, hot, garlicky Parm and chipotle peach. All were fantastic. I wish the tweener was thicker. It's not watered down but the oil content makes the sauce not want to stick. But the flavor is incredible. The chipotle peach was the surprise favorite to me. I'd love that on pulled pork. The Bavarian pretzel bites are hot, soft and fresh. The beer cheese is beer strong in the flavor. The wrap was put together beautifully and the chicken was obviously fresh. The wings are on the small side but fresh and crispy. I'd prefer these portions and quality over huge mushy wings any day. I called to compliment the food and the woman who answered (Hailey maybe?) was super friendly and obviously cared about customer...
