TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. If I could give no stars I would. About a month ago my family and I ordered a big dinner, each of us had our own meal...we went early to pick up the food so we would get it hot. I only live three minutes from this place. We waited at the restaurant for maybe 10 minutes, got the food and rushed home. Majority of the food was cold. The fish my mother ordered was completely inedible (extremely dry and tough)...The wings...Go to the freezer section at walmart and make them yourself and they'll taste better than what we got. Most everything was stale. I basically only ate some of the side of coleslaw I had. It all went to the trash. I was so shocked and basically insulted by what we were given that I called and spoke with the manager (something I definitely never do). He was aware that we spent over $110 and gave us a credit of $40 under my name. We agreed to this and figured we'd order pizza in the future (the safest option from this place). We JUST NOW called and ordered and the young man on the phone said there was no credit under the name and went to his manager, she told him there was nothing she could do and she was too busy. He then said "So I don't know what you want me to do" and I asked to speak with this "manager" and was just told she was too busy.
I've heard complaints from others about this place and management but have dined in multiple times with no bad experiences. I am very dissapointed in not only the food but also in the way you run your business. I know this place is one of the more popular places in town. But truly Antioch, we can do better. The food tastes like its been reheated multiple times and they clearly could not care less wether they keep a customer or not. I'm just one customer...but start treating your customers better or your business will decline...
Read moreI don’t usually ever write reviews but I feel like this should be said so other people can see this before deciding to dine here. We went last night and were super excited to try this place because it looked so nice on the outside and we are new to the area and did not know many places. It was actually my birthday and we were so disappointed. We had 2 kids with us and they wouldn’t seat us inside because they said they only had high tops available which wasn’t true because we did see open tables. We sat outside and it was very breezy and just uncomfortable. The server was very nice that was about it for our experience. The soup was disgusting. It was chicken and rice and was all watered down, no seasoning and honestly we thought it was just cambells chicken soup thrown into a bowl. It was cold too. The Cesar salad that is $14 for grilled chicken is fake grilled chicken and rubbery, they overcharged our pizza and then apologized saying they charged the wrong price, the manager lady was very rude to my daughter and was very snarky with her remarks. Overall it was a terrible experience and for someone who recently moved to Antioch, I will not be recommending this place to anyone. For the price you pay, and how beautiful it is on the outside, what a terrible disappointment. I can assure you I never write a google review maybe have written 3 or 4 but this one had to be written because of the overall disappointment. Maybe with you seeing this the owners will check the overall food quality they are serving… because if your serving cold Cambells soup that’s ridiculous. Hopefully you can use this as a review to improve for the next family who is trying to have a nice family out...
Read moreI am very disappointed in 2024 a black woman can’t even get a pizza in a predominantly caucasian neighborhood without issues. Anastasia racially profiled me on 05/22/24. I placed an order at the Antioch Anastasia through the phone. I haven’t ordered anything from this restaurant before. Upon my arrival I was greeted by people on their patio saying, “Oh look it’s BLACK PEOPLE! We never see yall around here” However, I still proceeded to go in the restaurant.
I walk to the cashier and he say what’s the name on the order. I give him the name and my card. Another man walks up and snatch my card from the cashier hand. But, before that the cashier already swiped my card. The other man said he was the owner of the restaurant .He looks at me and say I need to see your ID if you want this food. Mind you it’s a $17.60 order. I asked him why would you need to see my ID.
The owner replied back to me, “that he was having charge back on his POS from last month and he asked me if I knew what that meant.”I am assuming the OWNER was trying to assault my intelligence's by asking me that question. Mind you I do have a Bachelor’s degree. I said are you trying to accuse me of trying to scam you for a $17.60 order.
He replied back if you want the food you will show me the ID. I stated to the owner I will never eat nothing out of here, you can keep that food, give me my card, and left without the food. Well this restaurant actually stole from me! No one from this establishment apologized for anyone behavior and haven’t returned my money.
I would like this establishment to contact me ASAP about this...
