I went to Adjectives in Altamonte Springs a while back and I had a horrible experience! They were watching me like a hawk and it made me so uncomfortable that I walked out! I wrote them to tell them that deep down I had planned on shoving that giant brass shoe in my wristlet and then I told them that they should shove it where the sun fails to shine! Apparently many people have complained in regard, ugh. Lost my business! Anyhow, onto the real review…it was a comfortable experience. No one looking over your shoulder and you could just mosey around. I felt like it was an upscale flea market with prices to match. This place rocks! Took the wife to Mount Dora for a 3-day birthday weekend so she could grab a few specific pieces but Renninger's (Flea Market) was a complete dud, and all the dealers advised not to waste our time going to the (overpriced) Antique Mall next door where they actually CHARGE you to shop there (seriously). By Sunday we had given up and decided to try our luck on the way home at Webster Flea on Monday when a Mount Dora local told us about Trader Maes. 2 HUGE barns of consignment with lots of unique and interesting pieces. It's all individual dealers so some are more reasonable than others, but they will call the dealer to negotiate anything over $200. My wife got everything she wanted and then some. We filled up the back of my pickup, and had to buy a bigger tarp to cover everything for the ride back to Tampa. DO NOT...

What makes this place awesome, is the people that work here. They are so willing to help you take measurements bring things to your car and also look out for your family members while you are busy shopping. There is a lot of pride in this place and when you purchase from here you're helping people who are doing side work making beautiful furniture. I put a piece of furniture on holds the minute I got there after searching the whole place there were so many wonderful pieces. I decided I liked the first one I saw and it was still there on hold. They helped me load it into my car. The place was very busy and they made everyone feel like the only customer in the place. I highly highly suggest shopping here. So many wonderful Christmas items.
