My son was a new student mind you he is only 7 years old and the first day he took the bus the bus driver let him get off on the wrong stop. I was told they would not allow him to get off unless a parent is present. Call the school they said they don’t deal with the bus it’s another company and gave me their number. I called them and they told me their bus driver did no wrong, that my child needs to know where to get off period. Non apologetic and rude. I explained the situation, that he was a new student and this was his first time on a bus. Either way I got no where. At the elementary school he got made fun of and laughed at by a staff member the lady who patrols the playground. We spoke to the principal and made a report. My son had a shirt with a little logo stating “I still live at home” the Procter or whatever her title is started laughing at him telling him that he should not be wearing that shirt that it was for older kids not for him. Then proceeded to point to others the shirt and they all laughed. This really hurt my son and he came home upset and said he will never wear that shirt ever again. He cried in my arms. No mother should hear that an adult makes fun of their kids. It was a shirt that he piked out cuz he said it was true that he loves at home, he doesn’t understand the other concept that people who once again are adults and work in a school environment should know better not to bully. That’s against policy to do that. I’m so disgusted and disappointed in this conduct. I sadly will have to transfer him farther away to another city for school. Schools need to put their policies in place and enforced them accordingly. The bus company needs to get reported and be punished for not protecting their minors...

This school district is such a joke. They have a bus driver on rout 11 who picks on my kids and protects the bullies on the bus and the supervisor of transportation Sandy ext- 20401 is so unprofessional and rude. Her bus driver has admitted to her more then once about speaking out of line to my kids and for telling the bully that my daughter was the one to report her, but Sandy let me know they can't fire her because they are short on drivers! Also Sandy ext- 20401 called both of my kids liars saying that her bus drive did not say the ugly things to my kids because I had no proof, but when the camera back up my kids story she called back being nice!! Every time I try and get Sandy ext- 20401 help she is very rude and degrading to me and pretty much mocking the fact that they may treat me and my kids how ever because they are a school and I'm just a parent!! Fast forward to 2023 and they also do not take kids with disabilities education seriously. I’ve had to jump through hoops since before Christmas to get my child a teacher and still have not...

Phoenix academy- Never a problem with the teachers but other staff does have a lack of care to not take their eyes off our children. My little boy in kindergarten was touched by another student in the restrooms and my daughter was pushed and had her hair pulled was called fat and ugly she was recorded by other students while she used the toilet there is no consequences for their actions at all. When I pick my daughter up at the walker gate nobody cares to make sure she walked to a parent they only watch the ones they personally no and that’s something that’s absolutely concerning. I started picking her up at the kindergarten gate. Restrooms NEED SOMEONE TO BE MONITORING THEM AT ALL TIMES. THIS SCHOOL NEEDS CHANGE! And there absolutely needs to be some kind of punishment to the students physically hurting other students like sent home, sent to a class and miss recess something...
