Terrible Experience at Dutch Bros - 21690 Bear Valley Rd, Apple Valley, CA

On 10/17/2024, I went to Dutch Bros at 21690 Bear Valley Rd, Apple Valley, CA, around 10:00 AM. I ordered two Golden Eagles with soft top from the general manager, Savannah, and the ordering process went smoothly. However, as I was waiting in the drive-thru for my drinks, things took a shocking turn.

A police officer approached my vehicle, asked me to roll down my windows, and requested my driver’s license. After I handed it over, he asked me to turn off my car and exit the vehicle. Without any explanation, I was then handcuffed tightly, aggressively pushed down by my shoulder, and searched in front of other customers and Dutch Bros employees. I repeatedly asked why I was being detained, but I received no answer.

After a long and humiliating ordeal, including officers entering Dutch Bros to “investigate,” I was finally informed that the 911 call came from Savannah. It turns out I had nothing to do with the situation they were investigating, yet I was treated like a criminal. Even worse, I was released without any apology, explanation, or even a refund for my order that I never received.

This experience was beyond unacceptable. There was no reason for law enforcement to be involved over a coffee order. I left feeling humiliated, and the lack of accountability or apology from Dutch Bros makes this even worse. I will not be returning to this location and would caution others...

The newest coffee shop in the high desert. At least it's not a car wash again. lol! This location is located at the NW corner of Bear Valley Rd and Navajo Rd in the Stater Bros shopping center. There are two lines for drive through that merge into one. At least during the pandemic there is an employee who works outside who takes your order. One time I did ask if there is always someone out there and they replied yes, so I'm assuming this is how they take orders. I didn't see a menu board that you pull up to so that's something different. The employees are friendly and are encouraged to make conversation with you. At least that's what I experienced at the pickup window. She asked me about my rearview mirror and where I got it. Seemed kinda forced and awkward, but at least she was nice. Wait time was minimal even though there are a lot of cars at times. The drinks in my opinion were nothing special, however they were not bad at all. Nice to have a change from the usual coffee shop.

My particular favorite are their muffin top baked goods. The wife and I have tried their chocolate chip and orange zest (or something like that). Both are pre-packaged and taste very fresh and are not too expensive.

There are many other coffee shops in the area, and it is nice to see a variety of them popping up in Apple Valley. I believe they are building one in Victorville too closer to the 15 freeway. Overall, I would recommend you stop by and...

Don't get me wrong I usually have a great experience and love their coffee but this morning it was quite disappointing, first off I ordered my son a white chocolate frosty and there was nothing frosty about it was literally soup second I ordered my usual which is a large sugar free golden eagle whith whip and caramel drizzled, I had even requested it when I ordered and was told that it comes like that anyway unless requested not to add,anyway when I got my drink not only was it sloppy as hell it had no whip nor any caramel I asked the girl who handed me my drink if she could add whip and if she could please clean up the cup!and she gave me massive attitude which I have never experienced before because every time I've been there their staff Is always very happy and respectful but nonetheless this girl had attitude and when she gave me my drink back she continued with her attitude and then I asked for a straw and proceeded to say what didn't I give u a straw ,ahhjh hell no usually I would never tolerate disrespect but I am a whole grown woman and she couldn't have been more then 18 so I took the straw and left,sorry dutch bros this morning was not your morning and I am extremely...
