Best meat I have ever bought. I bought the beef pack, and it was WORTH IT! The rib-eyes were juicy and tender, I have never tasted a rib-eye that delicious. The new york strip steaks were juicier and better quality than rib-eyes I get at the local stores (my wife agrees). The 80/20 ground beef was amazing. It tasted and looked high quality. My hamburgers turned out amazing and we made meatloaf with it as well. The tri-tip made my wife a believer. She hates tri-tip from the store. Yet, from her own words ,"The tri tip from this butcher is tender and not hard like the store bought one". The big chuck roast, I used to make a beef stew which was amazing. I just wanted to acknowledge that Preston, I believe is his name, 19 year old kid, came to my home to slaughter my pig that had been our pet for 5 years, and he was the most polite and respectful person I could've wanted for this job. I was very heartbroken over the decision to do this, but he definitely made the process easier. He treated my pig very respectfully, allowed me to take my time with him, say my final words and so forth. He never made him feel scared or threatened in any way. I think his parents did an excellent job of raising such a professional man in a business where I felt that could've gone any which way. Awesome place for meat!! This has been our 2nd cow (I think) from here and the meat is always flavorful and tender. I went in to pick up our cow for the first time since my husband was out of town and the facility is beyond clean…add 5 more stars for cleanliness. The ladies in the office are friendly and very quick. One of the ladies helped me load the meat into my truck and even made small talk.
