Looks can be deceiving! On the outside, the shop looks small, but in reality, it is HUGE!
While this business is labeled as an "Apothecary", there is so much more here than just herbs and tinctures.
On the first floor, the main floor, there's a variety of different areas you can walk up to that will meet your herbalism needs, be it DIY kits, pre-made tinctures for certain ailments, an entire wall full of carefully packaged dried herbs, in a station where you can actually create your own herbal remedies. Herbal remedies. Seriously, I was blown away by how easy it is to maneuver within the first floor. There's so much to look at. But it's also very open and welcoming, the feng shui in this building really impressed me.
On the top floor, there is an area where this business offers certain classes and events, equipped with couches, a wooden studio floor, mirrors, and an office that I believe is not available to the public.
The bottom floor, there are two rooms, this is the metaphysical area. TONS of crystals, all carefully labeled and also gives the description as to what each crystal is useful for, smudge sticks, Celtic and Egyptian related products, Wiccan stuff, tarot cards, etc. Then if you follow back behind the bottom floor, there's an area where they sell a very impressive assortment of swords and also gypsy like fashion.
When I say this place is huge, it's huge! I had no idea.
The owner is very knowledgeable, kind, welcoming, and presents herself as very hard-working.
The parking in front of this building is a little odd, I'm not sure if there's parking in the back or not, but in the front of the building is where you can park, you just sometimes have to go over part of the sidewalk in order to exit the front parking lot.
Extremely impressed with this place, I've been following them on social media for quite a long time, and I visited their building in the Green Bay area but didn't take the chance to go into their Fox valley location until today, and I'm so glad I did!
I didn't mention all the items they have here, I wish I could remember everything, but you just need to come here and check it out yourself!...
Read moreHad my first of what will be many visits to the Green Bay store. It was a bit busy due the activities downtown but the salesman was very pleasant and made a point of greeting everyone who came in. When he learned I was a first-time customer he explained the store and showed me around, all the while acknowledging other customers comings and going’s and never made me feel like I was wasting his time! I explained what I was looking for and the reason. He confirmed what they had but offered another option, explaining why it probably would be better. Ended up buying more than I planned due to his laidback approach! Then when I got home I googled what I purchased based on his recommendation and he was 100% right-people said the spray he suggested was far better then I had wanted and easier to use. I will definitely be back. Many thanks to Jordan for being so thorough and patient with a newbie like me. His professionalism is a welcome change in the customer service environment and it was clear he likes what...
Read moreI cannot say enough about Aurora's Apothecary. I first met Ms. Aurora as a customer in Fish Creek Wi. The store became a regular visit during our vacations north. I have tried most products either via subscription boxes or because of medical needs. My addiction to Hibiscus Mint tea kept me returning each year. Then the website came!! Or maybe it was always there and I was not aware. We signed up for the website with Kevin at the Fish Creek store. Over time we became friends with the owners, and our needs for tinctures increased with our age. Thank you for all you do. The love is in every drop. I will miss seeing you in Fish Creek. Thank goodness the other locations are on the way to DC. Or we might just explore the Appleton area as well for vacation. So many forest hikes, so little time. Love you...
