I had a great experience working with the owner on valuing and then selling to him approximately 200 football cards from 1951 and 1952, as well as “President” and “Military Equipment” cards from the early 1950’s. He actually looked at and valued every individual card, explaining his “value thoughts” as he did it. I could tell that he had a passion for the business he was in. I was initially hesitant to stop in and go through the process because I have collected, and then tried to sell to many different businesses from Oshkosh to Green Bay, coins for over 40 years and I never had an experience where I felt the person giving me value really cared about the coins, much less looked at them as a collectible.
