A few weeks ago my daughter had lice, we did every treatment we could and thought they were gone, her hair was cleaner than ever! Then, just a couple days ago, I was doing her hair and noticed more bugs. At this point I scrambled, I had no idea where to turn. I did a Google search and found a lice treatment clinic in Stevens Point, which, at this point, I would drive the distance. I decided it doesn't hurt to try to call and see if they were open, it was Saturday so I didn't set my hopes too high. My phone call was answered immediately and I was informed they had a location in Appleton and could get us in that evening, I was so thankful, as was my daughter, then she continued to get antsy to get rid of the things, so I asked if there was an chance we could be seen sooner, and within minutes, I had a response that, in fact, they were able to get us in within an hour! This was so exciting to us! We got there, had my daughters head checked, that didn't take long to see them little buggers, and they started treatment immediately. I also was able to get checked, thankfully I didn't have lice! But the entire experience with the Lice Clinic was just amazing, the staff was so nice and informative! We even got to see a louse that was in her hair, using a microscope type deal, that was very interesting! I would recommend, if this ever happens to you, to just call the Lice Clinic before trying to rid them yourself and just get it over with! My daughter still has me look at her head now and then just to be sure they are gone, but I think at this point I am at peace in believing the clinic took care of the problem! Thank you again! I called Laurie early in the morning after potentially discovering lice on my child. I was very impressed in how knowledgeable she was and through discussing recommended coming in for a screening. I was on a tight schedule and Laurie was able to accommodate my time situation easily despite coming from further away. I was beyond impressed during the consultation where the exam was completed without protest from my child. Different options for treatment were discussed with detailed information on level of work I would need to do. We decided on the AirAllé treatment as I just wanted to walk away not having to think about ongoing treatment, and not really knowing I would be efficient in doing so. During treatment Laurie made sure to check in with my child to ensure comfort, and was able to provide more information on prevention and follow up care. We were able to complete the treatment and only an hour later walked away lice free and with a happy kiddo. The whole experience was pleasant I would encourage anyone call as the treatment is more effective than any drug store option. While I hope to never have to deal with lice again, if it ever shows up I know who I’m calling immediately. After going to the lice Clinic of America in De pere. I had pretty much lost all hope of getting rid of my family's head lice problem. We had gone back three days in a row and everytime we left we continued to find live lice even before I walked out of the building! I eventually was told that I would be refunded my money. They felt so threatened by me constantly coming back that the had me pick my money up outside of the police department. I never used vulgar language nor did i display agressive body language. Afterward, i got ahold of laurie in Appleton via text and told her about my experience in De pere and come to find out that the were missing a crucial step everytime that i went into the clinic. Dimethicone oil.. after doing exactly would she told me to do i can now say that my household is 100% lice free. Laurie really knows what she is talking about and explained things very clearly to me. Explained how the product should be applied and how often it should be applied. Additionally, any question that i had asked she had an answer for unlike the clinic in de pere. I would Highly recommend the clinic in Appleton Wisconsin to anyone that is dealing a headlice infestation.
