Crystal Water Massage — Local services in Arlington

I was excited to get a massage here but was very disappointed with the establishment and the service.

The massage “rooms” are actually one large room with superficial walls not connected to the roof. There is almost no privacy. The person getting a massage next to me was talking on the phone for at least 50% of my time there. After I was escorted to the room, I had no idea what to do next. They just left me with without direction and without a cover on the bed for after I got undressed. Halfway through my service, the masseuse switched without notice??? I could only tell by their voice. I’ve learned the hard way: anyone can be a masseuse. You need to find a MASSAGE THERAPIST. My (first) provider was 100% not licensed to do massages. She poured cold oil directly onto my back, massaged my spine (sore for almost a week after), and did not do the same massaging on both sides of my body equally.

I am leaving 2 stars instead of 1 because they accommodated my same day request. Do Not cheap out on massages. They could’ve done...

This place is truly a gem. I’ve been coming here for about 2 years now. I tried a lot of places around the area and this is by far the best. And the best massages I’ve gotten in my entire life, and trust me I have had MANY throughout my life. I go once a month at a minimum. I think what makes it the best massage is that they really know what they’re doing and can find where you’re tight/have a lot of tensions. For me, I had a lot of tension in my hips and the techniques used left me incredibly impressed (and of course feeling amazing after). I consistently have great massages even when it was different people. I brought my mom here when she visited and she said it was the best massage she’s ever had.

The environment is great. Beds are super comfy, and the temperature is always perfect. Never too cold. Everyone is super friendly.

I also love that the prices have stayed consistent since I’ve been going there. I cant recommend this...

Went in for a couples massage. My massage therapist was great, my partner did not enjoy hers so much. She asked the masseuse multiple times to use a softer touch, which I myself could hear obviously we were in the same room, but afterwards said she didn’t like that she had to keep asking. Speaking of hearing things, you can literally hear everything going on around you during the session which is distracting when you’re trying to relax. People in the hallway as they enter/exit their session. A man in the next room yell “oh f-!” in the middle of his session which really threw the vibes off, we had to laugh about how absurd it was in the car afterwards. They charged an additional $16 for paying with a credit card, which should be mentioned anywhere on the website. I did not notice at first and assumed it was automatic gratuity.
