I called trying to sell a phone but they wouldn't give me a quote over the phone even after offering to give imei number , website says they are open just to get here and they are locking up and they didn't even care that I drove 30 mins or the fact that it says they are open on the website , they locked up and closed up in front of me .. apparently their website has wrong times , and the time on their door is wrong.. people have shit going on , correct the information you give out if it's false . I banked on selling this phone and drove 35 mins for them to not even care , it's almost 15 mins before it's the time listed that they close and I can't even get help
Reply to owner: address the fact that you are misleading with false information, as previously stated , on your website and on the door to the store itself, it claims you close at 7pm, the screenshot clearly shows your website falsely claiming that you were open as I stood right in front when I screenshoted. After I had been denied service , Also even if your website listed the correct time I got there at 6:43 , that's 2 mins BEFORE the actual apparent closing time NOT 5 minutes after , if you're going to reply to my review don't change the narrative to make the customer the guilty one, I used to run a store like yours, accountability goes a long way, if you admitted to error and apologized to fixing the problem you would have won me over as a customer but you're trying to make it seem like I'm just a disgruntled customer that's difficult to work with that's not the case, your employees were just eager to leave instead of helping . Now I do understand security protocols and it's possible that even though I arrived 2 mins before "close" that it was against SOP for them to open back the store , that I understand but I didn't arrive 5 mins after I got there 2...
Read moreCALL AHEAD BEFORE COMING IN TO SELL. Their website is pretty deceptive. No, they do not let you sell any electronics you bring in. For starters, they only accept gaming computers. If you have an older machine or something with only an integrated graphics card, they will not take it. Do not bring in cables or adapters to sell either.
Their website says they give “top dollar” for electronics you sell, but like most pawn shops you’re only really going to get maybe 10% or less of the value you paid for it, or even can sell it for online. They will gut you on this.
Despite the deceptive advertising, the building was actually pretty well kept and they had some fun displays of old video games and devices adorned along the walls and in display cases. The employees there are also very friendly and were very clear and straightforward. It’s because of them that I only went down to 3 and not lower.
My recommendation: come in to buy. If you’re there to sell, make sure you’re only expecting $10, because that’s probably what you’re going to get for it as long as it’s something they will...
Read moreWebsite is VERY misleading. “No tech is too weird, too ancient, or too broken. We take phones, laptops, video games, virtually anything with a screen and buttons” we drove over an hour to make it here with 5 different iphones, and we were told they were all too broken AND too old. Very disappointing considering how out of our way we went to make it over here, just trying to get some money for our family and now we wasted all that gas. Extremely false advertising and none of what was “wrong” with the phones was listed on the website. Do not come here to try to sell your devices. Or even to buy your devices, highly recommend recharge electronics for a TRUE good deal.
Edit for business owner response: your response was incredibly horrible customer service. Absolutely horrible way to talk to your customers. Also NONE of the phones were password locked so that’s a lie. And it says it on your website right here in the picture I added so maybe check your own website and update it to tell the truth. Recharge electronics is 100% a better company, especially when it comes to...
