Went here today, and everyone was busy doing something, which is fine, but the girl that was supposed to take my order ignored the call from on of the girls that was also busy. The difference was that the one that gave the call out was running crazy fast doing other things for drive thru, and the girl who's register it was was moving slower than a snail in molasses in winter on turtle! I walked by her when she was changing a garbage bag by the door, and at the time of the second call to her to take my order, she still wasn't done with that one trash bag. Finally I asked if I could get a coffee, and one of the other girls stepped up, apologized for the wait, got my coffee, and didn't charge me. Then, as I was walking back towards the condiment bar, the girl that was supposed to take my order picked up the creamer jar and walked off towards the back. I went back to the barista bar and asked for some creamer, and another girl again apologized to me for the wait and offered to steam the creamer for me, which I accepted. When I was getting my cream the girl who's ignored the call for help this far emerged from the back, not with creamer, or the creamer jug, but with another trash bag.
Good job of the other two saving the day! Awesome customer service and doing their jobs well. That's how I grew up working and it's nice to see others still do that at that age, and disheartening to see someone else working so slovenly slow that smacks of disrespect and entitlement.
I will be coming back, but I'll make it a point of trying to avoid buy anything if that one girl is working, I'll go down the block to Dunkin Donuts if she's working a register.
If it weren't for the other girls stepping up to cover even when they were already busy busy, this rating would be a negative number, instead of a 3. If I see that other girl is no longer working here, I'll upgrade or...
Read moreTo start off: I don't go to Starbucks very often. I'm living out of a box right now (there was a discrepancy between my move out and move in dates), so I'm a bit discombobulated. As such, I didn't have breakfast before going to work.
"I'll try Starbucks this morning," I thought.
I ordered a coffee and a breakfast sandwich. I got to the window and asked for cream and sugar. Damn. Big mistake.
Look drive-thru guy, I know it's busy for you in the morning. You work at Starbucks. But, believe it or not, not everyone goes to Starbucks on a daily basis; not everyone is familiar with the ordering process.
Lesson learned: order my coffee WITH cream and sugar at the box. If you ask for it at the window, you'll get a surly employee staring daggers at you. He fulfilled my request, credit to him, but the attitude was pretty off-putting. He basically shoved the creamer cup, sugar packets, and makeshift stirrer (a straw) into my hands.
I worked a drive-thru myself for several years and disliked it for the most part, but I generally managed to maintain a thin veneer of lukewarm amiability to cover up the general malcontent brought on by my chronic existential alarm at being a minimum wage, grease-stained drudge.
TL;DR: I know it's hard to be nice to clueless customers, but give it a try,...
Read moreThe absolute worst Starbucks location and just happens to be the one closest to me. Which is a shame. Whoever is in charge of supplies is constantly screwing up. They are always out of everything and they blame it on the delivery trucks yet the Starbucks around in the area never have supply issues like this. Constantly out of sandwiches in particular but also other stuff like flavors and sometimes even condiments. Who is running this place? Awful.
I will say the folks who work here are awesome and they work really hard. Super nice and they do their best with what they’re given.
Aside from that, it’s just a bad location in a grocery store parking lot where the line has to wrap around the building and everyone is trying to navigate through the parking lot. Just not a great location to have a Starbucks.
Editing my review because of Starbucks reply: no, it isn’t global supply issues. It has been during the pandemic but that was every Starbucks. This one is JUST this one having these issues. None of the other Starbucks in this area have this problem. So no, it’s not a supply chain issue. It’s a this location issue. I have to drive a long way to get to the other ones, but I guess I’ll just go there from now on since the location doesn’t want to take any...
