I started training with Resh several years ago, after being connected through my Zumba instructor at CoCo Fitness. I am a former college athlete, who had mostly kept up my fitness in the intervening years but had lost some self-motivation. Thus, my level had dropped off. Particularly when I first started training, it was a challenge for me to manage my own expectations, given that I was used to performing at a high level. Resh helped me to re-establish my training regimen and to keep me motivated. Training with Resh on a weekly basis put structure back into my fitness routine. It has helped not only during that one day during the week but also in planning my weekly workout schedule and the timing/content of my diet. Given my athletic background, and the fact that I need to keep up a good heart rate, my workouts need to be intense. Resh manages to keep the intensity high, but she is also always encouraging, positive and sensitive to "off" moments. She actively works with me to get the most out of my body, and I appreciate her for it. I have seen payoff in terms of feeling both stronger and lighter.
Since we first started working together, Resh has seen me through a lyme disease scare, a bad ankle sprain and a freak back issue. Each time, she tailored my routine to help me get my strength and flexibility back, and then she picked the intensity back up when my body was ready. When my husband recently experienced a rut in his exercise routine, he agreed to join me in my sessions with Resh, and he has continued. Read moreReshma is hands down the best trainer out there. A year before I started training with Reshma I became very dedicated to healthy eating and fitness. I was running and working out constantly but for some reason I just couldn't achieve the results I wanted. That's when I hired Reshma and everything changed. She is amazingly dedicated to making sure you get the results you are looking for. She is patience, positive, and always available to talk through any questions. She worked with me to constantly modify my plan so I continued to see results. She helped me determine what to eat and when. I had no clue the importance of eating on a schedule or making sure I take in the right mix of proteins, carbs, and fats.
She knows exactly how to positively motivate her clients and push them to reach beyond what they thought they were capable of. She taught me that lean muscle isn't achieved by lifting 5 lbs weights but challenging myself to lift more. In the year that we trained together I lost 4% body fat, went from lifting 8 lbs to 35 lbs weights, squatting 160 lbs, and breezing through 6 mile runs. I will forever be grateful for all the knowledge and confidence she gave me. Now if only I could convince her to move to Los Angeles :)

I started working out with her in June 2017 and as of October, I'd reached major milestones in fitness and weight loss (20 lbs lost so far!). She expertly tailored a program for me to help me meet a set of challenging goals and at the same time accommodated a set of pretty significant health issues that can get in the way of my exercising and staying fit. Unlike other bootcamps and other fitness programs I've tried, I never got hurt during our workouts, but yet she was able to ramp up the difficulty all along the way.
