I just had to share how much I love spending time in the Arlington and Alexandria area, no matter the weather! Taking leisurely walks and using public transportation brings me so much joy. Engaging in conversations with the wonderful people I meet there feels like meditation – pure bliss! One evening, I found myself at this enchanting park. It was late, and the hot dog van had already left. The park was so quiet and peaceful, and I found myself completely captivated. I have a habit of noticing the little things, like the "Do not leave any litter behind" signs. It's such a pity that some people forget and leave their trash, but hey, we all have our forgetful moments, right? But then, I couldn't help but notice some rats scurrying around as if they had their little party going on. That made me cut my visit short! We all know that any food smells and trash can attract rats and cockroaches if we're not careful. I have to confess, I'm terrified of rats, haha!
