Reclining Liberty Sculpture — Attraction in Arlington

An interesting art piece but honestly a bit Unnerving. See it’s clearly trying to emulate a statue of Buddha using the Statue of Liberty. However from what I understand based on hearing it from others, there’s 3 types of Buddha statues based on position. Standing Buddha which represents their willingness to help all beings, Meditation Buddha which depicts tranquility and Peace and Reclining Buddha which represents Buddha in their final hours before reaching Nirvana and thus before their death. Now art is subjective and while I’m unsure if this was the artist’s intention, seeing Lady Liberty in that pose, personally gives me a vibe of Liberty Dying.
